Thank you Roy- look forward to these....
Can't see him even looking at them whilst Short is still the owner.“Mr Wilder has made a good impression on me as well. I will follow his career with a bit more interest now just in case we are in the market for a new gaffer at some stage.”
Paws off, he's going nowhere.
Couple of decent signings for them, namely McManaman and Grabban, but it may well be that Grayson is the problem. Watched his side against Derby in the opening game and they didn't half serve up some garbage, to the point where I was quite looking forward to playing them.
Can see this being one of those games where they mostly do fuck all but a little quality move gifts them a goal. If we stay organised and switched on I think we can get a good result here.
Wasn't McManaman on loan at Wednesday recently? Don't think he pulled up any trees whilst he was there
Will be a difficult game, they have got quality in abundance and I think we've struggled to develop a pattern of play away from home.
We've only played two away games and they were against possibly the best two teams in the division.
Considering we have never scored a goal at the Stadium of Light I don't see this being an easy one to predict.

Didn't we lose 4-2 there once?
Yep, January 1998. Our record over the last 20 years against Sunderland is appalling although we've not played them since January 2005 - we swapped divisions in for 2006/07. We've scored 1 goal in our last 6 league games against them.
