United 2-0 Sunderland (Fjortoft, Borbokis) (as an aside, how good were we that day?!)
Yep, January 1998. Our record over the last 20 years against Sunderland is appalling although we've not played them since January 2005 - we swapped divisions in for 2006/07. We've scored 1 goal in our last 6 league games against them.

That's exactly the kind of record that Wilder and the boys will want to break. And I fancy them to do so.Donaldson with a debut match-winner.Considering we have never scored a goal at the Stadium of Light I don't see this being an easy one to predict.
Will be a difficult game, they have got quality in abundance and I think we've struggled to develop a pattern of play away from home.

After binning the useless Moyes, they've now got the equally-useless Grayson
Our MP for many years and that shop owner in Highfield Road? LOL! Both are now dead? It's not Harry Barnes or Vic Smith.
That Sunderland team in 98/99 was outstanding. Destroyed us at home
Harry is very much alive and I'd not heard that Vic had died. Our MP for many years and that shop owner in Highfield Road? LOL! Both are now dead?
