I remember going on Shreds coach in the 80s for an FA cup 3rd round game.
Postponed on Saturday (waterlogged) and re-arranged for the following Wed night, in the days when nobody needed a minimum of 10 days to re-arrange.
The coach broke down and the replacement got just beyond London when the game was declared on (it was pissing down).
No pre-match beer and we all got in the ground late and missed our goal.
We then went onto lose 2-1.
Got home at gone 4am and had to be in work by 9am.
Happy days.
