ABSOLUTELY MUST WIN gets my vote. Play Up Pompey a banger. My cousins are Pompey fans so fuck em, COYRAWW.

Time do you call this?

Been once. Lost 0-1 in cup around January 71. Never going back !!
Lost 2-0 (Hiron, Trebilcock). I was there too.

Went again in April 1990, my dad and I left the ground when we were losing 3-0, found out at the bookies in the city centre that we pulled two goals back. Not been since.

Trebilcock?
I’m sure he’s a popular guy at certain parties 😳

Everton signed him from Plymouth in December 1965, didnt play many league appearances, played in the FA Cup semi final against Man U. Over the next few weeks it wasnt expected that he would get picked for the FA Cup final against Wendy but it was a shock to many that he got picked instead of England international Fred Pickering. Wendy were winning 2-0 but Trebilcock scored twice and Temple scored the winner.

He played in only 4 league matches in the next two seasons before being transferred to Portsmouth in January 1968.

“Players and management owe the fans this Wednesday.”

“Best turn up Wednesday otherwise might turn ugly”

“Be lucky if we even get a shot on target Wednesday”

2-0 !! I knew there was a reason why I don’t remember much about it. The only good thing about that day was that I was living in Guildford so not much travelling !
