As always, if you watch the SUFC ones on the club website, you'll need to log in. I'll upload the YouTube ones as and when the club post them.

If you find something before me, please add it to the thread.

Regis Le Bris' presser live tomorrow (31st) at 1PM

Hopefully we'll hear from Wilder pre this match. I'm quietly confident we may sneak a win v Sunderland. Brigg and Watson both missing from last time we played them. I know we have several out too but we've still got O'Hare, Hamer and I fancy Moore to do well.

Sunderland losing at Stoke was a huge surprise.
I've seen Stoke recently against Wednesday and Leeds and they were dire.
Maybe the new manager bounce was in full effect, but I'm worried there will be a massive response from Sun'land...at home...in front of 40,000...against us...without our injured players...gulp!!

I'd take 4 points from next 2 games all day long..then hopefully we,ll have reinforcements in for Norwich.

Sunderland's away form isn't great. They've lost 4 games already and the teams they have beaten recently (Luton, Hull) are crap.

They haven't lost at home though....

Edit: next 4 away games they have are Burnley, Derby, Boro and Leeds so I can see them slipping back.

Possibly, but the pressure is squarely on them to deliver, in my opinion at least. Their supporters will also think they owe us one after the last fixture (even though the game was much closer than they will ever admit) which adds even more pressure.

I’m hoping the weather sees it get postponed!

We really are in the shit with injuries so a week off would be a huge benefit, especially away at a decent side who I have no doubt will beat us quite easily.

Lockdown might be good give us a few months to get sorted.

Sunderland has the 4th best away record in the division and both Leeds and Sheffield united has lost 3 games this season ie just 1 less than Sunderland

That's great to hear mate.
Now, reassure me that we're going to tonk them at their place please :)

Cheers Stretchy, I'll sleep easier tonight for that.
Tomorrow night might be a bit of a bastard though!!

Yes, but look who they've played.

They have the following to play away

Burnley
Derby
Boro
Leeds
Wednesday
Coventry
WBA
Norwich
Bristol City
Oxford

Which does mean they have a lot of easy home games!

They had Robert’s on bench he would start for us.

Even though they have injuries they have a more balanced side.

Another pre-recorded preview from just after the last match. So no presser today.

Was hoping for a normal one but we know no one will be back for tomorrow, it at least that was the line after the West Brom game.

I'm slightly resigned to us being in 'survival mode' these next two matches.

Our squad's on its arse, numbers and fitness wise. Too many key players are being flogged as a result of injuries and they look knackered.

A good result for me would be 2 points and no more injuries. But I'm not expecting it.
Sunderland are a good side at home and I think they'll be fired up for it after the first match.

Something to get behind though isn't it ?
All we can ask for is that the lads go. Out and give it everything, which they have

We were begging for a team that fought to the end last season and personally it takes me back to the days before our fanbase became entitled miaery arses

The only plus point is that Sunderland have a lot of injuries as well. If they were fully fit we'd get owned.

He pulls a slight face when he mentions Rak-Saki, so I'm starting a rumour that he's going back!

100%.
Hard to be critical of them. A lot of the lads, Tom Davies, Kieffer Moore etc. are playing more minutes than I'm sure we'd (& they'd) have wanted given their lengthy lay-offs but they're in there doing their best.

Would explain why Brooks started last time out.

Plus, to add to your rumour - I saw Rak Sakhi in Tesco Abbeydale Road struggling to work the self service til. Obviously he needs to go home where his mum can do his shopping for him... You heard it here first.

As long as he avoids the Mousset takeaway trail....

In all seriousness, he doesn't really strike me as a Wilder player and his more recent half-assed performances aren't likely to endear him to the coaching staff.

And it's difficult. Young lad away from home for the first time. Leaving his friends, family and the pleasures of London for our northern wasteland. Can't be easy.

Love a good rumour me

I agree , I’ve heard that he’s going back - this is a FACT based rumour.

Admittedly, someone might have let one off and he'd just picked it up. Always a possibility.
