Good riddance one of the worst long term signings we've made in my 24 years supporting the Blades.
Disagree with pretty much everyone here about Collins' 'passion' (which means absolutely nothing anyway) when all he did was stay quiet, ball watch, drop deep, screw up our defensive line and then shout at everyone around him when we conceded.
Could head a ball reasonably well against bottom half of league one long ball teams, but put him up against any movement or quality and he was allover the place.
Only time we got away with having him in the team was when we sat back deep in our own half in the cups and he had Maguire to look after him. Still wasn't enough in the semi v hull.
Awful centre back and I don't agree he was a 'good servant' or had a good attitude whatsoever. Even if I did care about 'passion', Collins wouldn't be fit to clean the boots of the likes of Monty, Billy Sharp or even an excellent pro like Richard Cresswell.
