On top of Doherty who was signed as the actual backup right back but runs like he’s towing a caravan and must be on a fortune

Its frustrating, we was the better team and had more confidence about our play todsy. We had just been lacking the final ball and killer instinct.

They should have been down to 10 men for that high assault on bamfords knee but we are on the receiving end of a red that wasnt.

We find ourselves behind from a lucky cross-shot which was their only shot on target.

He never seems to make any effort to get in front of the defender, always on his heels. Sigh.

That type of contact has nearly always been given as a foul in my time and far too often as a booking.

A real annoyance for me because there's literally nothing the defender can do. The footage from behind even looks like Hamza tries to get out of his way.

You sometimes see players make themselves smaller by turning sideways and still get booked.

Unfortunate tbh. They had a spell which you expect and we seemed ok but the lad struck it well. Poor decision by the ref and quite frankly appalling officiating.

Both teams were lacking quality in the final 3rd but always felt we'd eventually create more moments like the pass from Choudury to Cannon.
