Strafford's just been on praise and grumble. Apparently wednesday need to average 26k now.

Well he'll just have to give out 10k freebies in future, instead of the current 5k.

I really can't understand why Strafford and Gordon Brown don't get together and have a love child (think Pugsly). They're both pathological liars.

Nice quote from Mickey Adams, a man with a sense of priorities:

"I didn't like knocking Sheffield United out (in the last round), but beating Wednesday was a different matter. Even if we play Manchester United in the next round, this is the tops for me.

Nice one Micky. A bloke who I think is destined to manage us one day.

Under strength team - are we talking France, Bromby, Sharp, Little , Reid, Bennett are not good enough for League 2 - pretty sh*t backup if thats the case.
We have no excuse against Port Vale - understrength or not - on the night they beat us 2-1 at BDTBL - a performance not good enough. At least Wendy could complain only having 10 men we had 11 and we played at home!

Against Port Vale we played and under strength team which worringly struggled against a League 2 team, although were unlucky to lose! One could argue this same for Wednesday - who had a man sent off! I wonder where we would finish in the league if we had Bromby, Sharp, Little, Reid and Bennet in the team every week?

UTB

The difference in the two results was that the Wendy's made big noises about using the Carling Cup as a money spinner, you know, the chance to get 84,000 for the home games that sort of thing: Strafford had told potential investors that it was normal for the Wendys to win the Carling cup...

We saw it as a distraction and although we'd wanted to beat Vale, it may have got in the way of our promotion campaign.

Understrengh or not the Piggies needed to be in the cup to generate cash. We didn't

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

If we were in a situation where we were counting on the revenues from a Cup competition nobody cares about, that creates meaningless fixtures with all the attraction and glamour of a while dog turd, as part of a plan for fiscal stability then I would be seriously worried.

Someone should buy Stafford a new Abacus for Christmas.

Football Heaven should be interesting tonight listening to all the whingeing little piggies especially if the retard who calls himself (p)ricardo , who only crawls out from under his stone to gloat after a Blades defeat makes an appearance.
He attempted humour after we lost to Vale by sarcastically suggesting that it would be a tough game for them last night since they had beaten "such a big team as Sheffield United" in the previous round. Still he was right.

Probably no wendys on tonight only dingles praising Davey and Spireites wanting Lee Richardson back in charge!
Top Man Micky Adams:thumbup:

My first thoughts too. Perhaps Ricardo will be able to talk about his club for two minutes now. Or he could always try shutting the fuck up.

Good old unclean manager buffalo head has his scapegoat in Jeffers can't blame himself or the squad just dump it all on one player.
The swillsboro lemmings just lap it up.

Well thats what Blackie did, so no surprise that he copied :D

How did you go on against them few weeks ago?

We lost 2-1 but our season doesn't depend on a run in this tin pot to buy players and make ends meet.

I am guessing that £22m development won't be going off at the massive club now? Who will Lee be blaming this week, the fans, the players, in fact anyone but himself for having no money and being an absolute fake.

You lot are that desperate to believe someone is coming to save you that you buy his hot air hook, line and sinker.

Hillsborough is falling down, falling down, falling down.......
