A busy summer Blades, but a simple question. Right now, from what you've seen, who do you consider our shrewdest incoming of the transfer window?

For me, and I think this will be a popular choice at the time of writing, it's Robinson. Looks like some player, fits the system, seems like a good egg and pro, a 'record' signing at the time but in the grand scheme of things actually looks like we got him for good money, if £7m as reported by some outlets is true.

I agree with Robinson , he looks a great prospect and at the right age . Very hungry and determined .

I would have had Henderson, i do think he will win us many points during the season however he is only on loan.

Really unsure Lys and Oli improve us THAT much.

Robbo, most certainly does and will in time prove to be an unbelievable investment.

UTB

Purely on value for money, and potential, I voted for Ravel Morrison. Easy to get it right, but just as easy to get it wrong.
Wilder is bringing him on very slowly and I expect that continue once the season starts. Hopefully his game time will increase along with his confidence, and our climb u the table. 'Steady as she goes skipper.' :)

Jeez, for one minute there I thought we'd signed up Graham Poll.... some kind of deal for him to advise us on how to be savvy with premiership refs.

His first offering would be "watch out for fat love myself dickheads taking out one of your midfielders just as the opposition launch an attack"

Robinson by an absolute country mile. Our attacking options are absurd this season, to the point where I genuinely couldn't pick who the front 2 would be. Then considering we have Freeman pulling the string in behind... Oh boy 😍

The competition for the starting 11 is immense now. But in such a short time, I think Robinson has made one of those shirts his own.

Robinson does seem to have the swagger of a Prem player about him. Hope doesn’t disappear up his own arse when season starts.

Impossible to tell, most of our signings were the best player at their previous clubs. Pre-season has shown that Robinson and Freeman look great additions. But I feel Oli Mc has so much more to offer than just goals this season, also Ravel could be an absolute incredible signing given time.

At this moment in time Robinson, best value Ravel Morrison, long term Oli McBurnie will be immense.

Opted for Valium Robinson from what I've seen so far. Have been impressed with Kean Bryan so far as he rarely featured if at all last season so seems like a new addition if that makes sence. UTB

I went for Ravel purely on potential. I nearly put Robinson, but as Ravel cost nowt but wages he could be a big surprise.

Gunna be a bit controversial and go for Osbourne. After his showing at Barnsley it looks like Enda has at last got serious competition which should make him up his game. Rate Stevens a lot but on occasion last year he could get a little sloppy, particularly with his final ball. With real competition on the bench he should be at his best every game rather than feeling too comfortable with just that wanker Marvin Johnson as an option!

We haven’t made our best signing yet ;)

Sticking to the Criteria of Price and Position - Ravel.

Best signing with money taken out of the equation - Robinson.

Whether this will remain when we move away from the theoretical will be another thing entirely

Well I did say "right now, from what you've seen". Would expect some different answers a few games in!

Point taken, but the criteria that matters, at least for myself, is to see how a player acquits themselves in the red heat of battle. I'm curious to see how Freeman (L) does as he could be vital to our attacking instincts. Morrison too, a potential match winner if he's finally expunged his demons and shows the consistency we'll need.

Agree with most of the above.
Price - Morrison
on the pitch - Robinson
With Osborn and jags a close second

Judging from previous transfer windows, over many years and many managers, there's usually at least one purchase that turns out to be an abject failure. Some players just don't settle into the team for no obvious reason.

Will it happen this time? If so, it will be an expensive mistake.

Too early to judge really, but from the limited amount of football played so far Robinson looks absolute class, although if Morrison comes good he is probably on another level to the others. If.

i cant tell you because proof is in the pudding so i can go i dean Henderson. we werent going to get a better goalkeeper
