It seems like there is a pattern to the age groups that have voted the older end such as myself will have started going in the 60's and 70's when we had some cracking teams, the next high voting group seem to be the younger end who will have been brought up on Warnock's brand of football. Not quite so many in the 30-50 age group though who would have started watching from the late 70's up to the turn of the century even though we had some of our best seasons in the early 90's maybe Bassets brand wasn't that good to watch after all.

Can I point out that, as a maths teacher, I find this particular poll very interesting. Calculating the mean from, essentially, a frequency table with grouped data. It satisfies my 'when am I ever gonna need this?' Question I receive daily.

I will also point out that, assuming the OP will be using the midpoint of each class as an estimate, the result will, in fact be only an estimate. I'm sure the OP will also have no problems in calculating the error intervals wand standard deviations as well.

Oh, and by the way, I am 25. After reading my post back, an extremely borIng 25 at that.
