Why am I a Sheff Wed fan, tell me Jack?

Because I think Henderson is weak on crosses? He is

Because I thought the team we put out against West Brom was weak? You can’t be right all the time I suppose.

Has Wilder still lost the dressing room, or don’t you hang around in the “same circles” as the players who told you that anymore?

Let me know after you’ve finished watching your lot at the Sty tonight.

We should only be looking at maximum points, not to scrape by.

So, 36 points up for grabs still which would give us 100 points

You can bet Wilder will be! That guy is a born winner and will have his sights firmly set on that trophy, one game at a time.....

Isn’t it incredible to see us up challenging not just for promotion but for the actual bloody title?!? If we do manage it (automatic) then it will certainly have been earned, with the incredibly tricky run in. The Leeds game is obviously a six pointer but equally as hard I’d say are Preston, Birmingham and Hull away where we generally get bugger all!!

I still hang about in the same circles bro. I used to give out all the ITK info on blades mad but it got too close to home so I stopped posting.

Don’t be salty Jack bro il invite you out for a beer with us one day, meet your heroes ;) x

As a minimum to go up in 2nd as it stands at the moment, I think we’ll need 9 more wins (including beating Leeds). That would put us on 91 points and we’d be damned unlucky not to go up with that. Depending On what Leeds do tonight & next two games, 91 may drop to 87/88. I wouldn’t want us to win any less than 6 of our last games.

If we got to 91 points and beat Leeds, they’d would need to get 28 points from 36, WBA would need 32 points from 36 and Boro 35 from 39 to beat us on points. Leeds have pulled in 25 points from the last 36.

It would need to be something like this......

Wednesday - 1
Rotherham - 3
Brentford - 3
Leeds - 3
Bristol - 1
PNE - 3
Birmingham - 3
Millwall - 3
Forest - 3
Hull - 3
Ipswich - 3
Stoke - 1

There’s not much margin for error in those games, some decent teams.
Not much error? Bloody hell. I'm kacking me pants looking at that

Norwich 92
Blades 89
WBA 86
Boro 81
Leeds 80
FL Derby 79

Destiny is in the players hands.

Just keep playing well and winning. No need to fear any opponent.

You know, we are quite good these days.......

See as 6 pairs of fixtures. We've seen the first pairing off, now onto Brentford & Leeds. We can do this. UTB. :)

Need to beat Leeds, can't rely on them to drop points

We can. It would be naive to suggest they won't drop any points between now and the end of the season. For good measure, so will we and Norwich so its a question of who drops the least. Seeing as we've developed a timely habit of not letting any goals in I would suggest we've got the edge on the other two during the run-in.

We cannot rely on them to drop points, we have to assume they’ll take every point available to them. The only ones we can not assume are the 3 on offer against ourselves. Likewise with Norwich although we don’t play them again

Those results would put us on 93 points, not 91.

rotherham beating forest today means leeds are in for a right fight there
think leeds will win 3 draw 3
so if we can get 11 points we will go up on gd

Apologies for being the smarty arse! I would be happy with a draw at Birmingham.

Don't worry, I'd not noticed the mistake, I'm shit at adding up without a ready reckoner. :)

ideal scenario preston beat leed we win v brum puts us 4 clear pressure well on leeds then

12 points needed 2 points per game on average - that will do it - I had us down for a draw at PNE but to beat Bristol so we are 3 points for 2 games. Need to beat Brum next for 6 points for 3 games and back in the 2 point per game average.

With an opportunity to go 7 clear when we play Millwall, with Leeds playing in the 5:15 KO.

We are getting well ahead of ourselves, just concentrate on beating Birmingham and see where we are...
