Strange....surely you can't make up the rules as you go along, after the event.
We were just late paying bills, the penalty at the time was an embargo, like other clubs had.
We were already punished for this...being given a transfer embargo.
But we have paid our bills? Yet get a harsher punishment then Everton got for a 2nd breach of PSR? Its a joke.
I'm all for proper punishment and we're getting it. The embargo is to prevent us making it worse, the points deduction is the actual punishment. So in effect we are being punished twice. We got an embargo, we paid what we owed and now are getting a 2 point deduction.
EFL judgment said:[United] submitted its Response to the Referral in which it accepted that it had failed to make various payments pursuant to transfer and loan agreements but... payments from its own investors were made late which it says led to unforeseen cash flow issues during the relevant period.
And people thought I was lying to them.
Love how other clubs appeal and we just deep throat the EFL's cock and swallow every last drop!!
TJB I genuinely burst out laughing when I read that. Thanks for cheering me up.Six games left of the current Premier League season and we're already bottom of next season's Championship table.
Quite a feat.

United missed payments of...
(a) £1,000,000, £750,000 and £3,750,000 due to Club 1 under a permanent transferagreement for Player A - has to be Brewster
(b) EUR 2,000,000 due to Club 2 under a permanent transfer agreement for Player B - has to be Ahmedhodzic (half of €4m fee)
(c) £143,546.28 due to Club 3 in respect of the loan of Player C - probably Khadra, figure so exact that it must include penalty clauses
(d) £62,500 due to Club 4 in respect of the loan of Player D - Clark?
(e) EUR 900,000 due to Club 5 under a permanent transfer agreement for Player E - assuming currency being Euros this can only be Berge
Cheers Prince

It’s alright complaining about the rules / interpretation of rules between prem and EFL but we shouldn’t be in the situation in the first place.
Just pay the fucking bills on time.
Loads and loads of clubs have had transfer embargos, they never got point deductions!"The club has co-operated with the EFL to reach the settlement"
That's not deep-throating anybody. That's admitting guilt and getting a 2point deduction. If we didn't co-operate, it would be significantly higher than 2pts you'd expect.
I also expect there will be no appeal from us.
Correct me if I am wrong also, but did Burnley not get done for the same thing?
We are in big trouble. To be fair your record is "mixed" at best.....
Final straw for Prince this surely
"The club has co-operated with the EFL to reach the settlement"

Not sure how this is connected to next season beyond the obvious implication of needing 2 points more than any other team at this stage. We were in the shit last season because we didn't sell anyone in the summer of 2022. Outside of the convoluted deal for Archer we broke even on our transfer dealings last summer and I'd be amazed if the selling clubs didn't demand the majority of the fees up front given our very recent history of defaulting on payments. Almost every one of our top 10 earners is out of contract at the end of the season. We are in big trouble.
Of course they won’t. The media love themI assume they will be starting on a 2 point deduction as well then.
Surely 3 as they won the league...I assume they will be starting on a 2 point deduction as well then.
Corrupt as fuck.
You’ve got clubs ruining the game. But no let’s fuck over the proper clubs wheeling and dealing to compete.
Wankers
