Nobody was "obsessed" by Evans today. The fans supported our team. He got a clap when he went off injured. That's really what it boiled down to.

I seriously don't understands everyone problem towards ched, he did not cost us promotion the team did for bottling it for one, he is not the sole reason we did not go up that season, face it and get on with now.

His behaviour was worse but we have had players in our side who have been worse or just as bad, such as marlon king and everyone was pleased to sign him.

The team is better, but there is no doubt he would add something to or side, he was a handful today no doubt and everyone getting against him are probably jealous he is not at united... why would I support chesterfield?

Weve tended to just get on and do our own thing this season helped with the fact that we finally gave a team worth supporting. There was a discussion about the lad after his latest / final court judgement was made and that was about it, until probably this week when a radio sheffield presenter asked CW a question about Evans and he has played against us for the first time today. I was there today and didnt hear any pro Evans chants. He got a clap when he went off - thats it. Hardly a bloody Evans obsession this season from the sufc fans. As it happens i think Utd should go for the lad in January if its the right deal and CW fancies it. He looked a quality player for the spireites today and looked the only one who would cause us any concern. Not overly fussed either way...(see no obsession) but i wouldnt be against him coming back. You clearly are...thats your view and fair enough. Im ok with it and thats my view. So were all cool cats about it arent we. Anyway, a lot more importantly, Blades played well second half dint they....

I think if you go back and check your facts many were not pleased we signed him. Many thought he was a past it waste of space. They were right. He was also an awful human being which didn't help.

Oh and Evans behaviour did stop us getting promoted. Had he not done what he did he wouldn't have gone to court and ultimately jail. The events of him being jailed derailed a club that was going up. The team moral was blown to pieces by what happened. This isn't supposition, it is written.

Pretty much every paragraph of that was nonsense.
He actions did have a massive influence on our floundering promotion bid once he was sent down - that's a fact.
Everyone wasn't pleased when we signed Marlon King.
There is no evidence he would add something to our side and didn't do a great deal after the first 25 mins, and hardly ripped us apart in those 25 mins.

his effort v Coventry away summed him up perfectly .
He was an utter prick , and I for one was delighted when he was fucked off .
