Surely, they're just blokes and they have internet access. I have hilarious images in my head of then pissing themselves laughing or getting really upset at some of the stuff I read.

Didn't Robbie Savage recently say that he used to post in the forums when he was a player...

Wonder who could be which player? Anyone want to 'out' any users?

Players must read the forums, partly to see what the fans think of them. I guess it's worth keeping that in mind as we can play a role in encouraging players and not letting them get negged out by posting something negative that does not need to be posted.

Also, would a team thinking of signing a player have a quick look at forums to help make their mind up? Some would.

Ever try to guess who posters might be?

Like Jim Phipps or Kevin Gage?

I have a vague recollection of a player saying he was going to sign for a team then he went on their forum and saw everyone was against it so didn't.

Yeah he talked about it recently on the podcast with Mathew Syed and Freddie Flintoff. Freddie ripped him to pieces, but to be fair to Savage he was laughing too. Very funny story.

I'm Chris Wilder

It would make sense you being Natasha, as sometimes you have a very unhealthy obsession with the Cheddler, my self I am Wayne Allison's appendage, these days wondering free.

Ok I'll bite, despite having been on Blades forums for years even commenting on loads of other issues predominantly (its funny before this saga began I was accused of being a patsy for McCabe and a PR guy for Kevin Blackwell XD) makes perfect sense yeah ;)

Its not nice to bite, it hurts ;)

I can see you have been on here a while and commented on lots of things, really was not bating you, just you are very passionate about the Evans issue nothing wrong with it, just sometimes its a bit full on but as I said nothing wrong in having passion for something, plus people are going notice as you raised a lot of threads in day about Ched, but no worries from me. :)

Well you can't be Ched unless they let you post from the witness box :)

Yeah during infamous derby season with only 1 win & 11pts. He felt quite at fault being captain. He would go on derby forums like this & say stuff like 'you know how stood out for me Robbie savage, he played really well today'

So to dean hammond find the only person to praise him

he did post on here once but it went unseen

How do you know there isn't already? ;)

In answer to the OP, they do, and amongst the member base are current and previous players and family members.

Bit cheeky, but do any post regularly, as I would imagine most would be lurking and reading the threads rather than participating.

wonder if there are any ex-managers on here?

In my days, young footballers never learnt to read and write and spent most of their time at an approved school.
Just goes to show what were the consequences of heading a 'Casey' football'.
