I think we need a big clear out this summer;

Lundstram
Norwood
Mouse
Stevens
Rodwell
Robinson

We should push the boat out to get Hourihane.

HH

We have seen nothing of Rodwell to make a choice of whether he stays or goes. He may be fine for the Championship?

Need a big clear out next season.

For starters...

McBurnie
Lundstram
Stevens
Mousse
Robinson
Rodwell
Moore
(There will be others)

Berge and JOC will most likely move on and Ampadu to go back.

Next season starting 11...

Ramsdale

Lowe
Basham
Egan
(New guy)
Bogle

Norwood
(Swift)
Fleck

Burke
Didsy

In essence, we need to move on and bring in around 10 players.

No 1 priority is GOAL SCORER and a John Swift type player.

The reason we have seen nothing is that he is constantly injured. If he wasn't he'd have been on the bench at least since December when we were putting up 5 subs every other week.

Stealing a wage and will be rightly told to fuck off somewhere else to con a living in a few months

Rhys Norrington Davies..

Watched him a lot this season.. He's the future.. Stinks of garlic bread..

Can we at least give proven Championship goal scorer Oli McBurnie a go in the Championship before we get rid?
No. We need to start building a team that can compete in the Premier League, he’s shown that he is way off that standard.

It wont happen in one season, but it wont happen at all if he’s part of the plans 🤦🏻

Although I had him in my list I think he will stay, but I think we need someone else with pace that can finish. Burke and Mousse cause all types of problems, but they are not the finished article. We thought Brewster could be that, but he is still raw and needs a pre season or 2 to get going. We need some one in as soon as the season finishes or someone now - already sgreed and sorted.

This current squad if all fit will finish top 6. We need surgery to make us top 2.

I agree but as a Wilder has said before football is a ruthless business. There’s a lot of players in our squad who are severely lacking in match practice. We need to hit the ground running next season and we need to build a squad that’s capable of getting out of the Championship. With a fully fit squad with a couple of additions, I can’t see what Roswell adds to us. I’d forgotten he was even our player in all honesty.

I agree we need to keep hold of a few squad players but I think we need a real freshen up all over the squad. Let’s be honest, the spine of the squad is still very similar to the one that came out of league one. We haven’t really had a proper clear out since Wilder came in, not that we’ve needed to btw, but I think this summer would be an ideal time to rebuild.

We’ve spent a lot of money over the last couple of years, clearly Wilder sees quality in the players he has bought, it’s up to them to step up but also up to us to build a team around them that plays to their strengths.

1. Lundstram - gets picked all the time?
2. McBurnie - body language shocking, ship him back to Swansea so he can hang around with his chavy mates
3. Stevens - WTF happened to this guy?

Enda—just feel a bit sorry for him, and a little sad. Absolute hero for us during our rise, a smashing player at his best, and has always come across as a lovely bloke. Has probably played above his limits for much of the previous two years by sheer strength of will. GLTTL, whatever may transpire.

McBurnie—done my best to stick with him, agree with the line that says we’ve still never played to his previous strengths, constantly disappointed in his technical ability (at least in the role we give him), just find him boring now, patience close to gone.

Lundstram—please do one, sooner the better.

I agree, and Wilder has said about footy being a ruthless business, so the fact that Rodwell is still here would say to me that he thinks he is worth keeping around (maybe?).

Maybe, truth is we don’t really know for certain mate haha. Not sure when his contract is up but I’d be surprised if he was offered a new one if it was up in the summer. Maybe he will keep him around as a squad player if he’s got another year.

I forgot to at McBurnie to my list, but fear the loss would be too much.

Must be worth giving him ago next season.

HH
It would a crying shame if we sold him for a financial loss to another Championship team...and he started banging in the goals. I would still give him a go next season.

He's scored 31 goals in 59 matches in the Championship.

That's a better GPG record than players like Neal Maupay, Ollie Watkins, Che Adams and Aleksandar Mitrovic.

That was 3 seasons ago. We will see next season. Maupay and Watkins have all pushed on and proved they are far better players.

I think he has declined since we signed him. That has to be a worry regardless of service etc. Tonight's two misses summed him up for me. Too slow and not a good finisher when he gets chances. I hope he comes out firing but I am not convinced he is our long term future.

We've been mostly shite at the top of the pitch this season but let's not throw the baby out with the bath water.

The fact is that we're going into next season with a very strong forward line on paper.

We have four proven Championship goalscorers in Sharp, McBurnie, McGoldrick and Brewster.

Granted, Sharp and McGoldrick are two years older than the last time we were there but the other two have age on their side.

Add Mousset (if we can get the bastard fit) and Burke into the bargain and you have the most potent attack I've ever seen us have in the second tier in my lifetime.

And yes, McBurnie has been poor this season but football history is littered with strikers who weren't good enough at the top level but could still rip it up in the leagues below. Most Championship clubs would still snatch you arm off to get him in their team. Luckily for us, nobody in the Premier League will want him and nobody in the Championship can afford him.

Brewster has been on a hiding to nothing trying to cut his teeth as a young lad in this awful team this season but I think he'll be a very important player for us next season. Nobody should judge him on what we've seen so far, the best is yet to come.

Why should we not judge Brewster on what we have seen?

I do not go in for this what someone might be - he may go on and be good, he may go on and be crap. We do not know.

The only thing we can assess is the now and what we have seen for the Blades and that has been totally sub standard.

1. Bang on.
2. Harsh, worked hard, put himself about and their centre halves won’t have enjoyed their experience tonight. If he’d put that header away everyone would be singing his praises.
3. Shame, last season you could have said our best free transfer ever. Let’s not break him, and he’ll come back .

Why should we not judge Brewster on what we have seen?

Because he's a young lad who has been dropped into a severely struggling team that doesn't create any chances.

He's not immune from criticism but I don't think we've seen him play properly yet.

Overall I'm not too concerned about next season.

I'm not saying we'll smash the Championship next season but I feel we're better equipped for relegation than we were the last time we went down in 2006-07.

The only two players I'm concerned about losing are Egan and Berge but if they have to be sold for whatever reason then so be it.

If we keep the bulk of this squad together, get some stability back in the defence and maybe bring in a couple of midfielders then I don't see any reason why we can't mount a serious promotion challenge next season.

I don't buy into the Wilder has lost the plot bollocks. I'm still backing him 100%.

It's quite simple, get players to create and our forwards will score goals

You can't continually blame forwards who miss the one chance created for them every fourth week, all strikers miss more chances than they score.

Aguero would have scored a 100 goals a season if he scored every chance created for him

Scoring goals is something that strikers do when enough chances are created for them, even the best miss most, but if enough are created they get their fair share.

Our strikers get nothing except long hopeful punts upfield to chase or flick on to nobody, it's so brain dead it's frightening. And it's a tactic that is solely reserved for use by this pathetic brain dead football club and the anti football morons that follow it.
