Even if by some miracle we make the play offs we wont go up this season, I can practically guarantee it,
Last night it was all there for them, the big crowd ,the pressure the cameras the lot,, and they just went to pieces..
Can you imagine that lot under the pressure of a big match at Wembley ?

I can and it's frightening..........

Sorry thought my opinion was clear, if not here it is

Brave decision from PH to debut the lad who hasn’t had much game time in this one

Think Forest were better and more intense than most expected

Seriki did ok, liked how he got forward, ball didn’t run for him a couple of times and he could have done better a couple of times

The whole team underperformed and although davies did ok, think Seriki would have benefitted from having bash next to him.

Didn’t help him that Oli had one of his off nights

PH saw what we all saw and made the change, was great to see benO back with a point to prove against forest and he did well

65 mins of a hard debut is no way to judge whether a player is “short of championship quality”

He’s a kid and a blade and I don’t like it when people are unfair in their message board criticism, would you tell him to his face he’s short of championship quality?

I just think you can’t judge any player let alone an 18yo making his debut on 65 mins

Glad you want to see us “progress”
Seriki did more than ok, got into some great positions & the ball didn't run for him on a couple of occasions, he wasn't 'hooked' after a failed experiment, he was literally blowing out of his arse after putting so much in, & that after literally no football this season, I'd be happy to see him in again

Nonsense...defeatist attiude

I enjoyed seeing them out there today and I'd rather jebbo than mcburnie on any given Sunday
Are you sure McB would not have played in MGW or scored when put through ? Might he have scored when unmarked had Jebbison crossed it ?

Mcburnie wouldn't have had the pace to get in the position that jebbo did when he miss placed his pass, as for scoring you'd bloody hope he would but this is mcburnie we're talking about.

Found wanting tonight. Not their fault, but they’re a long way short.
In relation to Seriki, I think it was a bad decision to play him in that game. He may well turn out to be an excellent player (he may actually be excellent already) but a tough game for his first start. I don’t think that we can write him off for life based purely on that one game. Hecky must see something in him in training to give him the confidence to start him.

People have been hysterically screaming for Jebbo all season, based on a few games at the end of last season. Like he was some kind of Messiah and I was worried about the over reaction when he returned to the side and failed to hit those expectations straight away.

To be balanced, I like the look of him. He is strong and pacey but actually looks like a footballer compared to say Burke. As I have commented on other threads, he looked short of match sharpness which is probably Hecky’s fault for not giving him game time instead of the car crash that is McBurnie.

That dreadful pass smacked of nerves, if he had played more minutes for us, I would probably have been a different outcome. I don’t think it was indicative of his actual ability. Likewise with the other chance, a bit more composure and he probably scores that.

To say he is a long way short is pretty harsh. I thought he looked quite good, those two mistakes aside. He certainly gives me more confidence than Burke did and definitely more than McBurnie (Although I am trying not to leap on that bandwagon)

would the pass have gone through if he did pass?

I must admit, that was my first thought as well. If he tried to square it and it hit the defenders legs, everyone would have been going mental over his reluctance to shoot. No way would Billy pass from there, for instance. It was hardly a sitter. The keeper was out early, but didn't commit himself and Jebbos shot was hard and on target.

No they are not they are all Brilliant, we should be playing more of them.

Seriki was well out of his depth tonight.

On a serious note get used to it because Lord Lucan sorry I mean the Prince thinks its the way forward.
If we don't go up this season we are F@#ked for years.
