Play offs now in reach

Personally, I think we should’ve done better under Wilder, we’ve dropped points to some poor teams (Charlton and West Brom) and also blown some leads (Wrexham and Preston).

I think it’s an underachievement that we aren’t at least another 6 points better off this season. Our squad is good enough to be higher in the table right now.

If you want a manager that never drops points or loses a lead, you're going to be very disappointed for the rest of your life.

That's the kind of thinking that got us a new manager in the summer, when I think we all agree now that we didn't really need one.

That's one side getting zero points. Only another 8 to go for a perfect Saturday
If we were to win our next two games we could be above Preston on goal difference they only needed a point tonight to move in to the top six (only temporary I must add) shows how close it could be with a consistent run

6 points away. Next 6 games will be huge before a international break. We play Birmingham and Wrexham. If we can match their results or better and beat them the sprint finish for the season will be interesting!!

What's the point?

The only positive I can see is attempting to break our play-off hoodoo. In that unlikely event the humiliations we would suffer the following season would be akin to the fate suffered by Ned Beatty's character in Deliverance.

As if we haven't suffered enough.

Maybe it's my downbeat mood from the least enjoyable derby win ever, but playoffs? Not this time, thanks.

Because if the unlikely happens we can reset once again for at least 3 years. It's huge and anyone pretending it isn't is ignoring reality!

If we beat Coventry I’ll have a slim hope, but there’s a lot needs to go our way even in that scenario.

It’s another opportunity to go from the bottom of the chasing pack to right in the mix. The last chances we’ve had, we bottled it.

Feels like this will be the last one and we can’t afford to fuck it up again.
