If we had held on at Wrexham

No idea how much damage missing out on promotion will do to us for next season. Who we might lose as a result, etc. But considering how we started, the quality of our play at times, and how much of our side is made up of ex-academy lads, I’m totally fine with sitting where we sit right now. I want us to make a push on the playoffs. But I’m not sure we’re set up to be promoted. I love that we still have a fighting chance. But I also love that after how we started it all feels a bit like a free hit now (to me anyway).

Afyer only getting 10 points from the first 15 games, United needed to pick up points at the equivalent PPG of a 96 point team over a full season, just to get to 75 which looks like it might be needed for 6th.

To be safe from relegation with 11 games left is a pretty good achievement

We’ve had a few stinkers when you think about it, even after the horrific start we still probably ought to have been a little closer.

Chucked two goal leads away against Preston and Wrexham. No way we should have had zero points from these. 3/4 at least.

Two sent off against Charlton when we should’ve been out of fucking sight. How they’ve taken 6 points off us I’ll never know. We switched off in added time and let them score that soft winner in the first. That should be 4 points right there.

Total no show with a strong team against West Brom

Heavily changed team against Southampton who were on a rotten run.

Making Carlton Morris look like prime R9 Ronaldo.

Every team slips up occasionally but we do seem to be quite mentally fragile, seems to stem back from the 3 losses in a week last season coupled with the play off final.

We still probably should have had something out of the Cov and Boro games as well based on chances created.
