Unreal day.
Grown men in tears everywhere, most of them have had to put up with some right crap to get to here. From admin in 2003, starting in league two with 8 players, and now this!

I'd like to echo the comments Danny made and just say Town are a better team than we were at Wembley (we were still the better team on the day anyway). We have taken teams apart this year and still only won by a single goal! Our problem has been our strikers. I genuinely believe that if we'd have had a 20+ goal a season striker we could have gone up automatically.

Hopefully we will go down as another example of not having to spend to succeed. Good management, team spirit and passion is far more valuable than money (and Jordan Rhodes). You'll do well next year. You have a great manager for a start.

I've thought the same watching you this season ,think you might have nicked top two if you had a decent striker and at times your defending been awful but you have a lot of youth in the team and considering your budget i think it's a bigger achievement getting promoted than any team in recent history

Bet your manager will be bringing lots of Germans next season
Wouldn't surprise me if you stay up
I hope you do anything that passes off the arrogant Leeds and pig fans off is fine by me

Makes me smile . Play off semi and final . It's a fact them Germans never lose on penalties .

Good luck in the premiership . Deserved .

Back to us Blades .

Could be a Sheffield double next season . S6 could go up or down . Continuity with Carlos , we could have had continuity with Madkins or Clough . Still be in league 1.

We will be the surprise team next season .

despite that we all know Reading must have been feeling dreadful on Monday, be ahead in a shootout & then have it ripped away in few mins later like the old quote its the hope that kills & is 1 of worst feelings in football. but I was hoping huddersfield won play off final, thought it was likely there 1 shot at Premier League as with the greatest of respect that could be 1 season wonder. bit like bristol city 2008, blackpool 2010 & yeovil 2013 that its now or never & every club (well bar 1) deserves their day in sun. as the manager might leave, loan players that impressed either go back or other clubs get them & squad gets broken up & 2 liverpool games will be fun with former Dortmund manager v assistant. if Bournemouth can finish 9th then Huddersfield can certainly survive,

saw an interview with peter Jackson on sky sports news this afternoon & they were talking about how just getting a team on pitch with financial problems was tough in aug 03 & then they showed footage of play off final that season & never realised they managed to get promoted through the divisions without scoring a goal, as all 3 of Huddersfield playoff wins, were all won on penalties after a goalless draw
