Pitch invasion - club say to stay off pitch

You can vouch for all 30,000 in the stands can you?

As you asked, I would probably describe those swearing in the family stand as ill-mannered as the club has asked people not to use such language and there are families with young children there. It’s not a case for criminal prosecution so as I have said I’m happy for the club to set the policy and enforce it (or not) as it sees fit. It doesn’t risk anyone’s safety so isn’t comparable to invading the pitch or using smoke bombs in my opinion.
I don't need to vouch for them. I have the evidence of the numerous pitch invasions I have seen. You have to make one up.

It is not just in the family stand, it is policy all round the ground. If you are suggesting that you would be happy to see the club enforce this rule and ban all our fans that sang 'head the fucker back', then I'm happy to disagree and leave it there, knowing I'm not the one with an extreme view.

How about we protect the safety of players, staff and fans before someone gets hurt?

Yes, I would much rather the club handle it's own conditions of entry to matches than you.

Are we done now?

Given the weakness of the reply, yes we are.

Yesterday was an incredible atmosphere, we are going up.

Well, that was the most miserable promotion ever wasn't it? (And it is promotion)

As soon as the whistle goes we're not celebrating, we're fucking booing our own fans.

Then we just sat around for a while, calmly waited for the players, then clapped at them a bit as they went off! It felt like a normal end of season.

I didn't go near the pitch because it was obvious it wasn't going to happen, as we aren't that type of fanbase anymore.

Official today, Blades up and no invasion at Leeds either, whats the world come to?

Saturday at MK Dons showed everyone why invasions need to be a thing of the past.
Pathetic bunch of thugs masquerading as the big I am. What a set of oddballs the Franchise fans are.

They got a good bollocking from Sir Chris before waddling off the pitch. At least it was only a talking to though, the idiot at the end who thought that he’d ‘escaped’ into the Family Stand received a few good slaps from irate fans as he headed for the exit and was then practically thrown down the steps by another who took exception to his invasion. Well done John Street!

Isn't dealing out summary justice in the form of a "good few slaps" and practically throwing someone down the stairs a more serious offence than running on to the pitch after the game is over?.
