There were rumours other day the players hate him and maybe off in Jan

Fuck me that chance today though
I agree, when he bagged a long, overdue goal against the pigs it was totally noticeable how the players just walked back to the halfway line leaving the 'hated' Tom to celebrate on his own.
Clearly they all hate him.

In the 1733 minutes Tom Cannon has been on the pitch for us since he joined in January 2025, we've collectively scored 24 goals. That's 1 goal per 72.2 minutes.

Took his goal well today. Good shot on him when you put it on a platter for him.

Good finish today, allowed Wilder to rest Bamford as well so good on him.

Nowhere near as bad a signing as some are making out, particularly if his actual cost was closer to £5m than £10m as has been suggested.

It is 10 million. The figures are recorded in Leicester’s accounts and were made public as part of their troubles with the EPL and EFL.

If we have a problem, Tom Cannon isn't it. I gave him sackloads of shit a bit back, and I think deservedly so but with Bamford at the side of him he looks twice the player Campbell is. Big confidence game playing striker, and the way we've set up previously with a negative, slow paced build up and one up front, even the best strikers would struggle.

He's running more, he's closing down and he's grabbed a couple of goals so time to get off his back, he's doing just fine now.

UTBFTP 👊👊👊

Right now he's earned his starting spot alongside Bamford, worried if Bamford leave tho, coz we need to play 2 up top and Campbell can't get past a mild jog at the moment.

Really pleased for him. Has a torrid time and looked completelt lost. Let's hope Bamford stays and that he can keep up the improvement

It just goes to show what a horrendous start to his Blades career Tom Cannon had that our goal difference with him on the pitch is STILL NEGATIVE (though hopefully not for much longer as the tables seem to be turning!)

To me he looks like a player that can get off a quality shot as long as you put it on a platter for him. I'm not sure how often we will be able to do that but it's nice we've been able to do that for him a few times lately and he's certainly held up his side of the bargain.

Top work by Brooks today for the assist and credit to Cannon for finding space too.

I’m not disputing that it’s right but was that the total value of the deal or the actual amount we’ll pay to Leicester regardless of performance?

‘I don’t care how crap he is he starts, coz I still need to justify my decision to buy him!!’ Thanks Chris

Forgot to update after the Charlton game so this includes the last 2 fixtures.

Now the stats have reached the 2000 minute mark they start to carry more weight. We can be happy that we're not leaking too many goals when Cannon plays though it's hard to give him much credit for that since he has little to do with defence. More worrying is how goal shy we are when he plays, often just scoring 1 goal in any given game when he's on the pitch.

It still concerns me that we have a negative goal difference when he's on the pitch, surely that can't be the case by the end of the season? We have too many other decent goalscorers for that stat to continue I think?

It doesn't help Mr Fodder that he's often played up front on his own .......
