Yes, blood would be spilt if a club tried to take the piss by trying to buy tickets on our end. I've seen Man City fans on the kop get battered for similar in a nothing game. This self righteous 'we're bigger than you so we do what we want' is exactly what gets people battered at our place. Think about it being the other way around and as much as I love being a blade I don't think we'd take kindly to someone doing a Darlington or Leicester at our place somehow

But at the same time sometimes you have to just enjoy other people's joy and hope one day it might be you !

No it was not, I was on the home end on the west stand, some blades moved towards the tunnel and was met by abuse and then two Northampton fans stood up and offered them out. There would have been no fighting if the Northampton fans had not provoked.

I'd have loved to be there yesterday with the lad as he's seen all the bad times growing up, but I wouldn't ever put him at risk, if say Man Utd come on our kop, I'll walk out before putting my boy in the firing line, I certainly wouldn't engage them thinking I'd be backed up by fellow blades sat around me... it's about making a good decision, the NTFC fan didn't take the right option for the situation if he had his kids with him, if he said nothing, guess what would've happened... nothing..

I wasn't there yesterday, so can't speak from the same position as yourself, but to be honest, it will take time to change that (into rugby style spectating), but in 2017, with the vast difference from the 70's,80's and 90's hooligan problems, clubs and police probably need a rethink in terms of integrating fans. There will always be knobheads and hostilities, as others have said, it takes two to fight. We also need to get away from this tribal mentality.

Whether it was a minor issue and the day passed with few incidents, its obviously pissed you off and can't argue with that, but coming here saying you whacked a few Blades isn't much better.

We have been shite, no getting away from that, last season, under Adkins was the worst i can remember. But after these years in this division (where the standard is vastly difference to the Championship) its great to get promoted finally!

I've just educated you based on going all over the country and travelling thousands of miles as a football fan on how to deal with the situation, the reason it occurred, and I've been honest with how I would react in the same situation, but if the best you can come up with is your last comment then I'm afraid our meeting of minds has come to an end..
