Thats bollocks. We provoked them by being in their stand. To say otherwise smacks of arrogance

It's going to be hard getting everyone on your side for this mate on a day like today, but I apologise on behalf of the minority of dickheads we have.
99% of Blades are salt of the earth but everyone on here is aware of what trash that follow us as well.
Cheers for the offer of help with tickets and I genuinley wish you the best of luck going forward. You frustrated the best team I've seen us have for years today, so you're definatley a team on the up still.
 
Gentleman....I'm a level headed guy.
Many years ago, me, my dad and brothers were in the Leeds end when we went in 4 down at half time.
We had a long chat beforehand about not chearing any goals in case we got filled in. I was eldest lad at 15, so no way we could look after ourselves if required.

We were restrained after our first...but when that third went in and the comeback was on....we couldn't contain ourselves.

I suspect,much the same happened today. The overwhelming pride, emotion, joy, ecstasy and probably beer just became too much to control.
Credit northampton....not sure how I would react if our much loved and very successful and well respected manager returned with his new side less than 12 months after leaving us to have his new side win the league. But I suspect "bitter" would be an appropriate word.
 
Do Norfampton folk live in a bubble? Let me introduce you to the real world, it's called Sheffield United. Nobody died, everything is fine, so what if we celebrated like fuck, get over it.

PS your ex manager liked your promotion, he fuckin loved ours.

Truth be told, I hope for a trip to yours for a pre-season match of some description in a few months. Hopefully helping us both lot prepare for a successful season!

I've not been today. After listening on the radio - I went down my local and had a few with a lot of other Blades who happened to fancy a pint about 5. I had a feeling that- on the day we finally get promoted- the longest thread on here would be one slagging our fans off. Why don't you all go and watch the Steelers instead

Were not bitter we just think some of your fans were disrespectful. Were more than happy for wilder after what he done for us and some of your fans could've just shown us half as much respect as we did u
