No it was not, I was on the home end on the west stand, some blades moved towards the tunnel and was met by abuse and then two Northampton fans stood up and offered them out. There would have been no fighting if the Northampton fans had not provoked.

Yep not good . I did say I used to go and watch Rushden and Diamonds up road with my mate who lives in Brixworth . Saw Billy play for them . Perhaps this didn't help the love in . Think some Blades released 6 seasons of frustration and tension . No animosity to you guys . Hope you do well and can seeing us loaning you some players next season . We are not Millwall but some young whipper snappers think we are .

Works both ways. I was on the hill, ran through some NTFC fans and managed to get on the pitch to celebrate. Was spat at, punched a few times but fuck it!! THE BLADES ARE GOING UP!!!!!

Wrong thing to pick up on. Whatever happened in the home end with some fans getting aggressive is the ugly side of football. Don't care who was at fault or whether it was a six of one situation, I hate to see it. Fans singing the club anthem as loud as they want while winning promotion isn't something I'll ever look down on.

Hopefully nothing serious came of it and it was just a few mugs that got removed as appropriate.
