Sorry if I’ve missed the thread but with it being 12:30pm kick off on Sunday where are Blades going for a pint before heading over to the sty? ⚔️

Wherever I do end up before the game, it won’t be the Banker’s Draft. Utter shithole and it’ll take half an hour to get served.

Anyone know of any pubs the dark side of town that would be ok to go in? Obviously won't be in red and white shirts - just after a couple before the match.

Don't fancy being in town and risking the tram after what happened a few years ago with police holding people up missing kick off.

Raven, Palm Street, Walkley.

A 20 minute downhill walk and it will be a reasonable clientelle. Decent Loxley cask ales too.

In the same area, the Blind Monkey and Walkley Cottage will be fine.

Raven and Cottage won't open till 12:00 and not sure if Monkey will open early for the match custom

Pubs near the Lane / Shoreham St then tram blue line from Midland Station.

Not exactly the dark side of town, but heading that way - Ball at Crookes seems to be open from 10:00. Jump on the bus down to Hillsborough or a taxi.
