I think most would agree that Hooper is better than Done.

And I would imagine that even more would agree that a strong strikeforce gets you out of this division. So with that in mind, your original post seems even more nonsensical.

That's cool though, your opinions are that.

I'm bewildered at the fact you're arguing Matt Done is better than Gary Hooper. Wow. I think that says it all about your opinions as well if we're getting onto that subject.

I think you need to l2read a little better. Where did I say that?

You tried weaving around the subject when I stated that most would agree Hooper is better than Done. That was after you made it evident you disagreed with my post about most fans being happy for Done going out as long as Hooper came in. If that's not you implying you think Done is the better player I don't know what is, because if you thought they were equal, you wouldn't have had such an issue with me suggesting Hooper coming in for Done would be a nice idea in the first place.

Unless of course..

You'd rather keep Done instead of Hooper even though you think Done is the worst player out of the two..which in itself would be quite ludicrous.

10/10 would read again. Is your middle name assumption?

What if I told you that we could make use of both players and you know, create a strikeforce (as I mentioned as a radical concept in my second post)?

Now your twisting your own words by saying that now you want both players, possibly because you're surprised i've just answered your previous post with nothing but absolute truths, eh?. Not buying it i'm afraid.

I posted a comparison between Sharp and Hooper yesterday on a different thread and Hooper had much better overall goal scoring stats. That's also without considering that the majority of Hooper's goals were scored at a higher level than that of Sharps'. If Hooper is so shocking why are most people on here saying he is an unrealistic signing? If he's worse than or no better than Sharp I doubt anyone would have said he's an unrealistic signing.

Hooper's scored plenty of goals in Scotland (as have such footballing luminaries as Stevie May, Lyle Taylor, Kris Boyd and, wait for it, Anthony Stokes), but he did it playing against far inferior teams to the one he was in which does make it somewhat easier.

Where exactly did I say Hooper was shocking? I don't think he's bad, neither do I think Sharp is bad. I just can't see why someone with a 1 in 3 goal ratio for Norwich would be beyond us. I wouldn't be disappointed if we signed either him or Sharp. What I would be disappointed with is if we sold Done to sign them. The last think we need to do is lose a pacy forward to sign a slug, albeit with good finishing ability.

Fair enough Barny, that's your choice. My posts are there and it's clear to me what I was saying and that's good enough for me

Have fun, I know I have x

Basically i'll make it bit easier; if the following were our strikers, this is how I would feel:

Sharp in, Done out - Livid
Sharp and Done - Slightly unhappy

Hooper in, Done out - Slightly happy
Hooper and Done - Buzzing

I do agree with most of what you say though.

Fair enough I agree mostly but I wouldn't be bothered if Done went ONLY if Hooper came in. If we signed Sharp for Done that's where I would be displeased, in the same way that if we signed Sharp to go alongside Done. Signing Hooper to go alongside Done would be best of both worlds and also the best we're going to get in this league I reckon. We can dream though.:D

Like I say, I wouldn't be disappointed if we signed either of them to play up front with Done. Keep it on the deck and a strike partnership with either should mean goals galore. I just wouldn't like to see us sell our quickest striker to sign someone that shouldn't realistically leave the six yard box.

I've edited my post because even I couldn't understand what i'd just typed.:D
