Should be a gudun tonight, get strapped in![]()
Not forgetting there 4-0 drubbing at Sunderland plus 3- 0 drubbing at Millwall1 Wednesday are playing fabulous football under Danny,
remember Watford, Preston etc.
2 Wednesday only 3 points off play offs,
sorry it's 4 points.
Rob absolutely doing his best samaritans phone in for these deluded pillocks.
Thank you Mrs StatonI honestly couldn’t care less who he supports I think he does a great job. Also, I don’t think folk who live in Sheffield appreciate how good the football reporting is in Sheffield. It’s levels above most places.

Agree. He’s professional and when covering United does a good job and when interviewing asks the right (ie. difficult) questions.I honestly couldn’t care less who he supports I think he does a great job. A Wendy manipulating figures to suit an agenda?Wednesday only 3 points off play offs,
sorry it's 4 points.
Steve Banyard was good alsoAgree. He’s professional and when covering United does a good job and when interviewing asks the right (ie. difficult) questions.
His only ‘bias’ comes out when covering the pigs which is fine. It doesn’t come out when covering United.
Gids is also very good, as was Paul Walker though he is a Blade.
Theyre a well supported club, I'll give them that. But god are they deluded.Listened to FH last night and the Pigs did talk some sense until the last caller. "Why should Pearce want to stay at Southampton, we're a much better supported side, we took 55000 to Wembley and could have taken 25000 more". Shame Staton didn't say "Fuck of you dopey, deluded twat".
And when that Blade rang in then put the phone down Staton spent the next 10 minutes ridiculing him whilst the sycophantic Giddings egged him on.I am not a massive conspiracy theorist re Football Heaven and don't listen that often other than driving to and from matches.
Turned it on as I drove down on Friday night, the first 28 minutes were all Wednesday. The only team playing that night were the Blades, yet no insight into the match or our new signings just Rob driving a conversation all about Wednesday, Shea Charles etc.
I just gave up in the end and turned it off. It may not be deliberate but it just felt like a Wednesday fan running the show to the point of it being laughable.
I also, unfortunately, decided to listen on my way to the game. No longer listen for reasons already discussed by many on here. Friday was the most unprofessional bit of media presenting, mainly by Staton, I have ever heard. Forget the football allegiance's, Staton did not allow the Blades caller to fully expalin the point he was making. When he put the phone down the childish antics that followed were embarrassing. Delibertaely mentioning/ talking about “them” at any possible juncture, laughing, joking and generally ridiculing the caller who actually had a valid point. There had been only 2 callers up to 18:30, bothAnd when that Blade rang in then put the phone down Staton spent the next 10 minutes ridiculing him whilst the sycophantic Giddings egged him on.
Now they have a point that if we want Blades talk then phone in but on a night where we were playing at home with a chance to go top and had just spent 10m on Cannon the lead from the presenters was all Wednesday

I dont think football heaven will last much longer, as a daily programme (if it still is).
Im not going down the conspiracy theories route, but when i do listen (on the way home from work once a week when i work away), there seems to be a lot less calls coming in (unless something major happens, which isnt very often nowadays).
This then gives the presenters more talking time and its now mostly about them and there thoughts (this is what ground ive been too, this is what they should do and this is the food we get served -probably free).
If the programme is mainly focussed on people calling in, then a 5 day a week programme is a waste of i guess (our license fee money).
Cut it to Monday (review last weekends games) and Friday (preview coming games).
Perhaps a midweek non league focussed programme, where pro games can still be discussed.
I dont have an agenda against the presenters, but in my opinion, the show is pretty boring now (normally radio2 gets put back on after 15min).
I guess social media platforms give the people opportunity to share there thoughts when they want and not just for 1 hour, like on football heaven.
Just my thoughts
I hope he listens back, he certainly will, with his nob in his hand and realizes what a total idiot he made of himself. Childish and embarrassing beyond belief, the Blade was polite and sensible. The Staton show plunged new depths and I cringed all the way down the parkway. And when that Blade rang in then put the phone down Staton spent the next 10 minutes ridiculing him whilst the sycophantic Giddings egged him on.

I very rarely listen to Football Heaven (or whatever it's called these days). I usually walk to the match but this Friday I drove and had the unfortunate experience of listening to those two childishly berating Blades fans. I can confirm that Staton is a prick. The blade (Chris I think his name was) wanted to talk about United but make a quick alternative point. Before he had barely spoke Staton jumped in, like he has done on so many occasions in a very condescending manner. It wasn’t a case of the caller throwing his toys out of the pram but he had made the effort to ring in, why should he be spoken to like that?! At that point station sunk to new depths with his pathetic and embarrassing childish comments and trying to drag Giddings into them. It carried on because the calls had dried up. No wonder nobody wanted to call in to be spoken to like that. I appreciate presenters are there to offer an alternative view but with Staton he comes across as if he knows better than the caller. Just because you’re a presenter doesn’t make you right or more knowledgeable.
