But did George Moncor tweet![]()
I enquired quite vociferously on the shoutbox.
He might've got a mention.
Supposedly.

As a fed up Unitedite I felt 3 points at the 2nd bottom club is the least we should be achieving if we are serious about promotion.
Maybe you're happy watching such festering shite in this division and quickly getting left behind by the other club in this city.
I'm not.
As a football fan and not a complete moron, I was able to both celebrate a last minute winning goal whilst simultaneously realising that we'd underperformed against a team in the bottom 4.
I also managed to do both of these things whilst somehow not being 'taken in' by Jim Phipps' terrible attempts at manipulation by tweeting 'get in Blades'.
I'm smart like that.

He isn't splitting the fan base.
People are simply dumbfounded by the attention seeking children who need to tag him in Twitter twat posts 15 minutes after a last minute win.
I hope Phipps is gone within a year, he brings nothing to the table, it's not his money, he can't even travel to Sheffield anymore and he is splitting the fanbase.
And further up this thread someone asks whether there could be pork involved. Fraid not, I imagine they have better things to do than get involved in our shite, like watching a team full of quality players, bought using game changing investment make moves towards the top end of the championship.
Imo this is pretty much nonsense from start to finish.
Have you used the ignore button on him like you have done with a lot of other posters because you don't agree with them yet?
I think they means "it seems to me" and "because", respectively. I could be wrong, though. What does istm and bc mean you seem to use them an awful lot ?
Well that's that then.Imo this is pretty much nonsense from start to finish.
If a dog is born in a stable, is it a horse?
No Lydon, it is The Son of Dog......![]()
Anyone know what's been up with Jim ? He's twittering away but has recently said he's "out of action travel wise for up to another month".
Do we assume McCabe is in charge of transfers ?![]()
Ok, so Jimbo had his little flounce about getting abuse, then during the transfer window (today) he posts a link to the Deloitte Football Money League and it looks like he's opening a debate up....

If he didn't want abuse then perhaps this is the wrong article to post about... considering we've done nothing but throw good money after bad at sticking plaster options instead of investing properly and building a sustainable football club

No, I've seen his sick note, he's not back in until 2 FebruaryBack in action on Feb 1st...
Not sure why though.
What could be happening during January that would/could affect Sheffield United?
Beats me.
I know I was only kidding.I would be genuinely surprised if either are involved in any of the club transfers, save for rubber-stamping the deals put before them. Wasn't Branigan doing most of the leg-work previously (albeit with mixed results)?
Pete is paranoid delusional if he thinks Jim Phipps is trying to hoodwink him.
Pete urgently requires professional medical attention.
Don't be like Pete.

Clough set the budget? Wow, that's what I call leadership at boardroom level.Anyone who thinks Jim was involved in transfers is deluded.
Brannigan was given an overall budget for each and every deal. Sadly Clough was heavily involved in setting that budget.
I wouldn't be surprised if next years accounts show a hefty pay off to Malachy for taking the fall at board level.
