Results matter most, of course.
But performances really do matter as well.
We've had some bad ones this season, probably slightly more than we'd all like.
However I do think over the entire season we've produced more performances worthy of pride than bad ones. Too many times we just haven't been able to turn them into points.
One just has to remember finishing 3rd & 8th under Blackwell. We played awful football but somehow got results. I prefer how we are now.
There's been a lot of negativity recently, and not without reason, but if.. and it's a big if, we can push on with this squad and manager, there is heart and positivity to be taken from this season, and not just from our results, but from our performances too.
