How much is Wilder paying you to suck him off on the daily?

I find it so bizarre. Call it out for what it is.

The setup is shocking, we have no sustained pressure going forward. It's all U shaped football with no threat and extremely slow.

Are you really thick enough to think this is all the fault of 1 man who was in charge for 8 games? Really?

He can do no wrong to some of you because he had a sing song in the banner cross. It's barmy.

I said it in the shout box earlier that this season is exactly the same as last season but with the luck removed.

It's mad that 5.5 years ago we were in the Premier League playing arguably the best attacking football we've ever played. We moved quickly, attacked in numbers, created overloads, and went toe to toe with the big 6. It's the same management but we do absolutely none of that, we don't even attempt it. Why did Wilder lose all confidence in confident football?

One of footballs mysteries.

Yeah, we got no better last season. Nothing improved, bar a couple of individuals. They still looked like strangers in terms of partnerships by the end of it.

No, but Selles had virtually no say on most of them either.

And if he doesn't rate them, he doesn't have to play them.

Suck him off more if you like though. It's weird.
Suck him off lol .. I wanted Robins as manager but you stick with your agenda .. I’m sure if we’d stuck with Selles & his iPad we’d be pissing the league ? Wilders stuck with shite he’s been dealt with .. I’m sure your a fkg ace on Championship Manager ., 😉

Hmm .. so you think the shower of kack signings that came through the door on the transfer were Wilders fault ?? …yes we’re shite today but FFS know where this started 🛎️🔚

They aren’t all bad signings, Tanganga, Mee and Soumare look decent.

The squad isn’t as good as last season but we’ve still got good players and enough quality to be competitive against every team in this division.

So for me, the quality of the squad is just an excuse and an attempt to make Wilder blameless for our current situation.

Selles has his faults. He isn't at fault for what's happening now.

Sorry YB we’ll have to beg to differ in this ..

I blame the board / owners primarily mate .. but Selles was the yes man appointment.. between the play off final & now can’t believe how far we have fallen ..

The Wilder Cult is ripping this club apart. The man has done incredible things for us, but all good things come to an end. He's destroying his own legacy now. And as for the signings, the recruitment team was hand picked by wilder 😂.

Superb, 100% accurate, bang on post.
Slim Man, can you please find a way to send this to the owner's and slimy Bettis.

They were in January tho look at the shyte we fetched in then
all we needed was a good CH and we -sorry Wilder did fuck all about it for 6 bloody weeks
Jamie Hoyland was behind the summer recruitment and the supermarket panic buy dash at the end of the window

We don’t have enough quality or depth
Tanganga is playing like he hates it here and who can blame him
Mee should be a squad player not a regular starter
Soumare is imo the best of the lot our saving Grace this season is that he continues his progress anf adapting to the English game abd we can pair him with a stays fit Tom Davis oh and we persuade Ohare not to leave as he has indicated

I’d agee with you ATL re a centre back replacement for Souttar last season 100% & pissed money up the wall on Cannon .. but fuck me tbe board / Selles signing .. Godfrey ,Barry , Bindon , Ogbene , Chong , Mc Guinness .. Jesus Christ they are beyond shite .. as tbe phrase goes Buy Cheap Buy Twice .. I genuinely think tbe above aren’t better than League 1

Lost his fire during COVID, I am not sure Wilder pre-covid would put up with this sort of crap.

Selles set the tone.
CW set the tone last season

Insipid football that was dire to watch
Failed to get over the line in the games against those at the top
'Managed' (being kind) the very obvious fitness issues that we all saw
Claimed he 'reconnected' the club. He didn't
The Wembley debacle, a blessing in disguise now
Disappeared at full time and left his team out there to deal with it all

His legacy was secure when he left the first time, whatever the truth of how it ended.

He's wrecked that. He deserved not to have.

Someone close to him needs to have a word now.

He looks and sounds out of his depth.

You’re wasting your time mate.

Perhaps Selles should have got hammered on Sangria and sung rude songs. All would have been well.

Yes it turned out to be a catastrophic appointment, but is Wilder 3.0 any better? We’re still in the relegation places.

There’s plenty of blame to share out. Why wilder gets a free pass baffles me

The owners are to blame for what they did over the summer.

The squad they’ve put together is horrendous in comparison to a good championship squad last season.

Bringing Wilder back was the wrong decision but sacking him was too.

I don't rate any of the signings with the slight exception of Ogbene. He should've been swerved anyway due to his injury record..

Shot: Ings, Mee, Godfrey.

Too young/inexperienced/luxuries: Soumare (not lost hope completely but still the wrong signing given experience was badly needed here). Zatterstrom, Bindon, Ukaki, Nwachchukwu

Shitola: Matos, Godfrey (makes both lists), Mcguinness, Barry, Chong.

Other issues:

No quality back up keeper brought in. If Cooper was carrying something during the summer it beggars belief

No experienced central midfielders other than perma crock T Davies. I don't count Hamer as he doesn't have the basic physical requirements.

One decent senior striker on the books who prefers pies to pressing.

No reliable right back on the books. Seriki is one of three at best. He's not even reliable enough as a back up. Don't kid yourselves. We're two light here

Form: No accounting for the cliff drop from Hamer, Campbell, Burrows,Cooper (unless carrying injury?). Peck is being asked to do far too much. Where are the experienced players around him?

General fitness. We have the worst basic fitness in the league and it's not even close. The pigs waifs and strays and babies could potentially run all over us. It doesn't bare thinking about. You can't really push the likes of Campbell or they'll probably break altogether (see Hamer). I'm really worried about the Dec/Jan fixture schedule.

If you offered me safety on goal difference right now (under any manager) I'd sign.
It goes without saying that most of those issues were baked in before Wilder walked through the door. Hamer's injury has added to the issues.

I cannot understand why we did not spend the first week of the international break getting the squad as fit as possible.
Without fitness we have no hope, Wilder was aware of how unfit they were as soon as he took over, and they are all as bad as each other , with the exception of Duracell O’hare who worked throughout the summer.
Rotate the players and get them fit
Play them in their correct positions
Play three in midfield, everyone else does, if we do not we have already lost the midfield battle.
Play ogbene through the middle or at least play two upfront, any two just support the front man, oh and Campbell has to press and make runs not just saunter round the pitch.
Yes Wilder has been dealt a bad hand, these are not his choice of players, but good managers accept responsibility and work with what they have got.

The Star (i know) highlighted a worrying trend from last season (which Selles cant be blamed for).

We haven't won 2 home games on the bounce since February.

I did have a look to check it, but got bored of searching.

That's not a good stat (if true) for any team wanting success, or at least a decent season.

The rot started last season unfortunately.

I dont think you can blame COH for last season as some decent additions came in (wether they were used or not, is a different matter).

CW had a great legacy at this club from his first spell, but its sad to see it being tarnished now.

I dont just blame CW, but he has to take a very decent percentage of whats happening from the end of last season and what we are seeing now.

IMO, the performances haven't changed much from last season, but the results and some woukd say 'luck' have.

It can very much be true that Selles was the major problem, just the Wilder isn't the solution to that problem.

It's easy to point at the Selles signings as the issue, but let's not forget that some of our short comings; right back and centre back especially are areas where Wilder failed to sort in two windows.

The problem here is the players. There was a rumour a while back that Selles was disgusted with the professionalism shown by the players in the hotel. They were eating crap and completely unfocused. That isn't something Selles caused, it's rooted in our squad so it's safe to assume Wilder has never got on top of it and doesn't look like doing so.

He seems to be leading by example - if he can get hammered on a regular basis then the players will too. He even bragged in that Colin Murray interview about smashing 15 gins or something like that at the LMA awards.
