But isn't this the point?

We could do a lot just by not putting ourselves in the position for the opposition to take advantage.

Call it diving, conning the ref or whatever, but if like Nosworthy v Hull and Kozzy v Donny we go flying in (in or around the edge of the box) you leave yourself open to punishment, whether it be giving away a pen or allowing the attacking player to skin you.

No not for me I don't want to see our players failing around like a fanny trying to the cheat their way to a result, I don't want to see my own players do that either on sundays, if you can't play the game fairly you shouldn't be playing it at all. I don't like cheats, I maybe one sided in my view of this but I also don't like teams that employ these tactics too, Its bloody embrassing, they're grown fucking men. Yes mistakes where made by the defenders, but how the man in the middle can a judge that as a penalty and not the one in the first half when a Donny player used Ched or Cressy as a freaking step ladder just shows that proper fouls often go unpunished while the cheating twats seem to be getting the rub of the green.

Sorry Rant over.... :)

On top of that, how many genuine shouts for handball were there? What really annoys me are the niggly offences that linesmen flag for instead of the big decisions in the box, especially when a lot of the linesmen this year have given penalties against us (i think)

I'd love to have a good look at all the pens we've given away this season, because increasingly it seems to be defenders getting out of position or losing our shape in the back four when we get punished.

Absolutely right, SB.
Totally brainless and naive.

If you saw MOTD this weekend you would have noted a plethora of referees misinterpreting decisions all over the pitch against all teams....linesmen also.
There is no conspiracy against us.
We are brainless and clumsy in defending our lines.

.
It's a very English thing to do, to try and play on even though there is contact.....

Unfortunately that is a thing of the past and it’s something we are going to have to live with.

Too many foreign players and coaches in our game and FIFA also have an agenda to try and stop tackling as we the English know it.

For example; all the money that was spent last night putting on the game at Arsenal and it was tippy tappy shit, thank god The Ashes was on.

Did anyone else notice it was reported to be the first £100 ticket for a 'normal' game last night at the Arse.
