Peck and Arblaster are completely different players with totally different skill sets. The quicker Peck can go back to the box to box role where he's facing the opposition goal and coming onto things the better.

We don't have a Souza so I don't see that working any time this season and even if it did last year I would have preferred blaster ahead of him in that role. He's attacking output is zilch.

Oli would be the one who gets the ball of the centre backs on the half turn in my system. I expect one of his next two passes to then be forward.,or for him to have that little burst of pace through that first press if there's space. Unfortunately, I don't see him contributing much this season. If we're hanging our hats on him coming back up to speed this side of Christmas... well, it's far from ideal.

Peck.is more of the carrier between that point and the final third. Ideally he'd have it in him to make a third man run or to hit the odd 20-30 yard shot on target,but I agree with you there...

What was the actual "incident" here? There didn't seem to be much going on.

Also, a good part of this was it didn't end in a mass brawl. Wilder mentioned the club had learned their lesson from last season's fines.

Sydie just gave them a bit in their ears, seemed like he just got in their faces told them what he thought then turned his back and walked away, and went straight down the tunnel.

I remember Davies went over as well and looked more involved than Sydie, so assume it's something Peck said that got them wound up.

It's a shame there is no footage from about 5 seconds before this clip. From what I saw live, Sydie seemed to stick his head through the crowd of players around Hirst (who was still feigning injury on the floor) and with the cheekiest of chappy grins, said something which clearly wound them up, before trotting off toward the tunnel as they all chased him.

A fellow poster in shoutbox last night suggested that Peck said "Get up Piggy" to Hirst. God I hope that's true
