As much as I like Davis, that place is 100% Pecks at the minute. If we need to change things up in midfield, then Davis is the perfect replacement but we absolutely cannot rely on him starting the game.

Get the oppo’s midfield battling with Sydie & Vini for an hour then bring Davis in to work between the lines against some tired legs.

When Bristol had a go first 20 mins , Peck was chasing shadows. I would rather us be the aggressor from the kickoff at Wembley. Keep hold of the ball better. And use it smarter . Davis is your man for that. Very harsh on Peck not to start for how hard he has worked I know . Just my honest opinion.

As per the previous reply I suspect Davis is still being carefully introduced to save picking up another injury so starting him is probably not a sensible option at the moment.

I don't think you can fuck about with the team for a final, I think the bad morale would trump any perceived marginal on-field gains.
Unfortunately, that probably also means Robinson stays in front of Holding too.

I might have been overthinking things last night as well but I did get the feeling that Holding and Gilchrist had "checked out" a little bit. Not to take anything away from them or that they were unprofessional but I just got the feeling there full attention wasn't there when warming up etc.

Then again, Brewster was spraying people with the sprinklers so who knows!

Spraying sprinklers pre-game then spent the first part of the half time warm up trying to constantly meg Adam Davies.

He also - instead of popping them - picked up balloons off the pitch and went to the stands to give them to kids. Good lad is Rhian!

I know that performance and outcomes etc is a big part of contract negotiations but I do think he is great to have in the squad! great Character

I thought he was outstanding when he came on today. He gave us some extra bite in midfield that we were lacking first half. He put some big tackles in, put Bannan on his arse a couple of times, did some horrible, niggly shithousing, but just as importantly, used the ball very well when he had it. I know Arblaster gets all the plaudits because he’s a Blades fan, but I honestly think Peck has an even brighter future ahead.

Even at such a tender age he’s so switched on and oozes confidence He’s got energy to burn and always makes himself available to receive a pass.

Peck struggled first half but grew into the game. Davies has shown his class and compsure on the ball coming on in the last few. He uses the ball better than Peck but Peck will start at Wembley and I'm fine with that. Davies is an excellent option to bring on no matter what the scoreline is

Tom Davies has looked fantastic in his last couple of starts. But I expect Peck to start, and Davies to come on second half if we are chasing the game - or come on later if we're ahead.
