Considering that we'd be saving no more than 5k p/w on him, struggle to keep the ball in tight areas on a narrow home pitch and have now got Brayford and Woolford off the wage bill, maybe we should be having second thoughts about this.

The most technically gifted, by a mile. But it's about far more than that, and he's not just lacking in other areas, he doesn't have any game whatsoever.

His composure adds something they're lacking at the minute. But the absence of any tackling, pressing or attacking ability means we've got to look for better.

Well, a replacement midfielder would not have to do much to score more goals or make more tackles than Coutts.
