IF it is Phil Parkinson, I'm surprised at the outpouring of negativity. Parkinson took Bradford up, albeit via the back door after several erratic performances (something Nigel couldn't do), has cemented Bradford as a solid league 1 side who flirted with the play-offs, knows the division well and was once regarded as one of the brightest young managers in the game after what he achieved at Colchester. He failed at Hull but, arguably, was sacked very early into his tenure and warranted more time.
He'd represent a solid, if uninspiring decision. But at least he's employed, and from the initial reaction from Bradford fans, they would miss him. Maybe a safer bet than many of the out of work managers currently on the merry-go-round.
