Really hoping this lad cuts it at this level. Someone wrote that he might be cover for Bash who's now 32, but from what we hear of Bash in training and see on the pitch he's the fittest player at the club, although I suspect Mousset would beat him over 100 yards. Bash is a physical freak with a tremendous engine. Seems to play every game.
Hope the new lad gets some game time
I don't think he's "cover" for anyone. He's here to compete directly with whoever to get a place in the side.
I'm hearing this quite a lot from several folks, this sort of..."but who will they replace?". That's good because it means that we are happy with the current first 11 and don't see any major weaknesses. I remember thinking exactly like this when we signed Jim Bone! I thought it was great, but I can still reel off that starting 11 every week from that early 70's side - and at the time we signed Bone from Norwich I just couldn't fathom, for one moment, who on earth we'd drop to make way for him. But it wasn't a case of that - and neither is this a case of "who will we drop?". It's the wrong way to be thinking about it.
There will be injuries, suspensions, loss of form, change of tactics and formation, throughout the season. What we have here are 11 vacancies - and the best 11 players for each game will fill them. That might be the 11 that are currently in place. It might not be. No one is guaranteed a place - they have to fight to get it and fight to keep it. Meanwhile the standard of the group continues to increase to the point where some will fall behind. Don't assume that even our very best player from today's 11 will be irreplaceable. No one is irreplaceable.
That's what's happening. Hard to believe it I know, especially after all these years of watching the Blades, but it's happening and, if we really do want to be a top team, it has to happen. It's fine by me!![]()
Can see this as being the best signing tbh.
He can be the fittest, however his body won't continue to allow him to do it week in week out unfortunately. I think this lad may end up making 10 appearances which coupled with his training will tell us if he's ready for a starting birth next year.Really hoping this lad cuts it at this level. Also gives CW an option to rotate players and maintain quality. Let’s face it nearly every fan can say who the starting 11 will be week in week out if they are fit. Only one I can see at risk is Lunny, focus seems to have gone off game since he started season well, got bigged up and entered contract talks. Remember where you came from and who brought you to this point Lunny!I don't think he's "cover" for anyone. He's here to compete directly with whoever to get a place in the side.

Direct from a free kick at Kop endWas born August 9th 1998.
The day after we beat Swindon 2-1 on the opening day of the season, a goal from Vas Borbokis. Tedious I know
1-2Amidst all the excitement, include me in that, I’m reminded of similar when Alex Sabella joined, lost 1-3 at home to L. Orient first match![]()
Sorry but due to the fact there are 24 pages of post here and i've had a few can I just ask... is this with a perm option?

Apologies if already mentioned but I couldn’t find it. Restos unveiled his new Twitter account earlier and theres no mention of being on loan or playing for Leverkusen in his bio. Could he have signed or be signing permanently?

Walked through Millhouses Park at 8.50pm and Zivkovic was in there by himself working his bollocks off......Great work ethic.

As I posted elsewhere, I’d hope and suspect we are trying to renegotiate it down given the arse has fallen out of the market due to Covid.I’m aware there’s a clause in his contract just no word on it being activated? Will be a decent fee
