Out of contract

Neither Brewster or Robinson have shown/done enough for me. Brewster seems likeable but spent most of his tenure injured and hasn’t done enough consistently. Robbo is all hearted but simply not good enough, I get he does a crunching tackle every 3 games which the “pashun” brigade loves but we have to move onwards and hopefully upwards.

On the right wages and if we are in the championship I wouldn't say no to Brewster he's a perfectly fine championship option.

I wish Brewster the best for an injury free future, but giving him a new contract is lunacy
Have we learned nowt from RND?
Oh we will! 5 loans we have isn't it? That's a nice versatile position to be in if we either go up or stay down, if we stay down we have Anel Hamer and Souza to get some good money from for a leeds type rebuild.

We were talking about Brewster on the Kop and agreed he again played decent when he came on against Bristol City.
Recently he’s actually looked average Championship level, good attitude and is quite versatile.
We all agreed he’s not really a striker/ goal scorer but his general all round ability is good.

A few around me agreed…in the PL he’s not good to start but should be good enough to be a sub….and he’s able to play several positions.

A few month back we all said there’s no way we should offer him a contract extension.
But now we’re open to keeping him as long as we offer relatively modest wages, probably slightly below average Championship level with bonuses.
Don’t think he’ll start any games in the PL and shouldn’t start many for an upper Champiomship team either but he’ll be a good squad player.
How is he good enough to be a Premier League sub?!! If he's in our squad of 25 next season we are breaking records!

People actually want to give Brewster a new contract?! 3 years and he may play 6 months worth of games? May score a goal. Genius.

Time for Robbo to go I'm afraid. He's lost his head. Football wise he's a perfectly good CB cover in the Championship. Mentally he's gone and he's 32 next season. Time to move on.

If we go up, we have a 25 man squad. That will already have Shackleton, McCallum, RND, Tom Davies, A Davies in it. Add in Brewster and Robinson. That's 7 of our 25.

Campbell, Moore, Hamer, Souza, Seriki are injury prone/have fitness issues.

I think you’ve answered the Brewster question in your first paragraph.

It’s not whether we offer him a contract or not imo, it’s more like he won’t sign one anyway because he’s down the pecking order

No issues for me with signing Brewster on to a contract heavily based around appearances.

Robbo on t'other hand... The sooner he pisses off the better. Constantly pissing about in the box wrestling and shirt pulling and just a walking accident tbh.
I would happily give Brewster a new contract just to trigger some of the sad, bitter fuckers on here 😁
