At present here are the front threes, not preference but just to show likely options:
1. Berge-McBurnie-Ndiaye

2. Berge-Brewster-Ndiaye

3. Berge-Sharp-Ndiaye

4. Berge-Ndiaye-McAtee

5. McAtee-Sharp-Ndiaye

6. Berge-Sharp-McAtee

7. Berge-Jebbison-Ndiaye

8. McAtee-Jebbison-Ndiaye

9.Berge-Sharp-Jebbison

10. McAtee-Sharp-Jebbison

11. Berge-Jebbison-McAtee

Etc
There are a fair few permutations before you even get to Khadra or Osula, even with McBurnie and Brewster out of the equation and without playing the likes of Osborn or Doyle further forward.
I think this is where us being a club that develops players rather than us being a club that has cash sloshing around comes to the fore.
With Brewster and McBurnie out, if this isn’t the time to develop Jebbo, then when is?
In all competitions, Khadra has played 455 minutes across 16 matches and 74 of those were in the League Cup. In the league, it’s a shade over 4 full matches out of 26 matches played, which equates to 15% of our game time.
His omission isn’t going to be noticed. Appreciate his goal at Swansea but most of his recent introductions he’s actually been a liability.
Time to crack on and manage with Sharp and Jebbo. I’d rather look at midfield if any money comes free. We’ve got Norwood plus nothing but injury prone options in Berge, Doyle, Coulibaly, Fleck, Osborn.
I’d say it’s there where we have most discomfort and why I think Rothwell would be a better addition than any striker.
