One of the worst misses I have ever seen for us

I found the Cannon signing baffling, but some of the abuse he gets is ridiculous. It wasn't even the worst miss today. I didn't catch all of the game, but thought he was actually quite decent today. Some people seem to go out of their way to jump on his back. I don't remember a thread on any of Campbells misses, for instance.

If he had any semblance of an all round game or contributed in other areas people would expect him to put it together. As it stands he looks a pretty disastrous signing. Generally the crowd have been patient with him, but let’s be frank there’s not a lot to be positive about.

Needs to be chalked down as a bad decision and any time he comes on in the playoffs I’ll be worried that we’ve just handed any attacking impetus to the opposition.

He's genuinely growing on me. He makes good runs, isn't hiding, and shoots on sight. He'll come good I reckon.
It wasn't a terrible miss, he should have scored or at least hit the target, but it was nowhere near as bad as some fans (that are clearly out to get him) are saying.

Chris says he'll come good, so thats ok then.
He waited years before Rhian scored at S6 and did some good stuff
Cannon is here unless/ until Wilder moves on

I don't disagree that he has been a disappointing signing, but some of the comments are ridiculous. The chance today was a good one, but the ball was behind him with the keeper charging out towards him and two defenders on the line. Hamer smacked one miles over the bar from two yards out, whilst unmarked and the keeper out of position yet doesn't have a pile on thread.

Slated for his miss but harmer 2 yards out was miss of the season

There was a shocker from BBD in a game. Sliding in, back post, put it wide from a yard. Another bad one at Loftus Road. Cannon crossed it low. He somehow put it wide. There was an absolute shocker from Campbell in a home game. The miss of the season: imo:

If he'd scored it Wilder would have probably started him v Bristol so we should be grateful he missed

It wasn't only that miss, it's the rest of his game too. It's embarrassingly bad. And physically he looks like he's never broke sweat to try and improve himself

He should be nowhere near the squad for the play offs. Just look at it:

Moore
Oné
Brewster
JRS
Brooks

They're the attacking likely non starters, and all are clearly better sub options than Cannon

Then there's:

Davies (GK)
Holding/Robinson
McCallum
Gilchrist
T.Davies

Who are all important

And one of these 10 still need to miss out. There's no merit based case for him to make the squad

There was another example with Cannon in this game in the second half.. He peeled off near post and got a yard. The ball was played to him but behind him. He had to check and shoot from an awkward spot when his superb movement should've been rewarded with a great chance to score.
True.
The miss aside, I thought he played ok today. His movement is great and he also drags a CB out of position to let our other players exploit the space.

He had a couple of other half chances but the balls into him weren't great

Bet you wouldn’t have missed it in Concord Park, eh superstriker? Got to love these perfect fans…..
You gotta remember it is Cannon's job. If you were as shit underperforming in yours during your probation I don't think you'd be kept on (pre April 25 employment changes)

Should play in the reserves till either he starts scoring or a decision is made (don't hold your breath) to get rid/loan out.

Hamer's was quite difficult if you can watch it on tv.
