One of the worst misses I have ever seen for us

Always great to get the opinion of someone who is elite level at everything
Tell us all how everything in life just comes easy to you and you've never had to face adversity or support anyone through it

I bet you have a six pack a supermodel missus and a sports car
Well done sir

What adversity is he going/gone through?

If appropriate to share on the forum please do so and I'll agree that it wasn't appropriate for me to make that post.

It was shocking in the way that he missed it ballooning it nowhere near the target. Panicked and showed no composure.

Tyrese to start in the play-offs.

You forgot the apartment in Monaco, the superyacht in the Red Sea and the offshore trusts in Bermuda.

There was another example with Cannon in this game in the second half.. He peeled off near post and got a yard. The ball was played to him but behind him. He had to check and shoot from an awkward spot when his superb movement should've been rewarded with a great chance to score.
If we'd bought him for ten bob from Locomotive Worksop maybe but £10mill from Leicester hahaha.

Barnet might need additional firepower; loan deal?

Obviously tyrese to start and cannon is Obviously struggling to live uproar the price tag in front of fans who don't want him

Try and be a supporter

As I said, it was right that he was applauded off by true supporters including myself.

Commenting on an internet forum that it was a terrible miss and that he shouldn't be involved in the play-offs is something separate and doesn't mean those saying that aren't true supporters.

Maybe not but starting a thread about it is punching down a bit isn't it

I get what you're saying and your approach but IMHO scrutinizing a players' performance in a match and saying that said player should be dropped for the next game(s) is a reasonable topic of conversation on a football forum.

Always has to be a scapegoat at'lane
Misery is a source of comfort to our fanbase

I don't think anyone can seriously question the fact that he's the weak link/weakest link in our team.

So it's time to drop him, no question.

Bet you wouldn’t have missed it in Concord Park, eh superstriker? Got to love these perfect fans…..

You gonna start a thrsd about the next one if cannon doesn't play?

Thank you for that. I thought that was the case but wondered if my aging memory had deceived me. All you Wilder haters take note.
There is no evidence of that whatsoever. It’s just something the Wilder fanboys now say if one of his signings looks poor. The ones that work out are Wilder’s, anything else is the board’s.

He's a cerebral player. People that like those type of players will like him. Those that possess those qualities themselves will appreciate him. He won't be liked here because he isn't a big physical brute. He doesn't have outstanding physical qualities. He comes across as lazy. His biggest asset is his football brain. His level is Championship though as that will only take you so far these days. The last PL striker to really succeed like that was Robbie Fowler who was far more intelligent in and around the box than anybody that has played there since. If you play him right at this level he'll get goals because he's seconds ahead in his brain. If you expect him to bully defenders ala Deane, Clarke, and the average Sheff United striker you're in for a world of disappointment. Tbh I'm not convinced he's what we needed given our set up.

No, but we're approaching the most important part of the season so it's a legitimate point to be made.

I've previously stood up for Jack Robinson plenty of times on here saying the abuse he got/gets is unacceptable.

If Cannon was booed today that would be unacceptable, but I'm glad/proud of the fact he wasn't.

Are you suggesting you have to be an elite footballer to have an opinion on football?

Watched the snooker last night, my highest break is about 28, but I could see Ronnie was having a shocker.

It’s a forum, fans forum, where fans come to put online what years ago world have been said over a pint after the match, and that miss was shite and would have been talked about

No

Geeyore man. He was poor and it was bad, despite being an absolute star, Didzy missed easier chances than that for fun

Yes true but Didzy contributed something else to the team and overall made a positive impact to the team and was full of effort.

What does Cannon bring to the table? Nothing- so he should be dropped.
