Good enough for sweeden/villa/Everton & Roma but not good enough for us apparently

I suspect the reason he looked poor ( not as bad as half on here make out ) is because he was behind Slavs team in a back four

Would have been good to see him in this back 5

Extremely worrying that we are swapping him for stokes no3 who has barely played in 4 years when our number one has hardly been proven 😟

The devil made work for my idle hands!, hence,......

Frank Fielding - Goalkeeper. 33yrs old (34 in April)
Recent record,... All with clubs playing at Championship level!.
Bristol C. 2018-19 - 7 Appearances (5 League, 2 FA Cup)
Millwall 2019-20 - 1 Appearance (League)
2020-21 - 2 Appearances (Both FA Cup)
Stoke C. 2021-22 - 0 Appearances.
I'll be kind and call it 10 Appearances in THREE years. Not what I would call a threat to/for WF's No.1 position/Shirt!!, which IMHO is a must to keep WF on his game!.
BUT!, Frank is a player that will require 'No to little' Fee!, and as such would be an ideal signing suggestion for the 'Yes man' dingle to put forward to 'Yes man' bettis to (in the absence of a Chairman/Board!?) put forward to the prince, in keeping with the 'Spend Nowt' policy under which our club is now operating.
A squad in need of some major surgery will be getting the (Fielding etc..) sticking plaster treatment, if it is lucky!.
Unfortunately Blades, this, is our 'lot' for the foreseeable future, prepare for (4+yrs!?) more sh*t times ahead!.

See you all at BDTBL next Saturday

Correct ✅✅✅✅

Sooner the prince f@cos off the better

At the time I was on the princes side when CW left

However it’s clear to see why wilder wanted out and I don’t blame him

we all saw how poor he was even if he was behind a shit defence, vile deserve him. theyve probably never seen him play, only want him cos sheff u have him, how many players is that theyve gazumped us.

Poorly handled.

We're down to one keeper. We could have sat on this until the end of the month.

We were told it wouldn't happen until someone else came in.

Why we are so desperate to help Villa I don't know - unless we're really desperate to save 2 weeks' worth of wages.

Fuck me he would have conceded if he had the great wall of China in front of him goodbye 👋

If "Back Door" Wilder hadn't spunked all the money on a load of shit maybe we would be able to buy better players without causing cashflow issues

No great loss. Are we really going to go with WF until the end of the season? Fair enough and I suppose the board were expecting Ramsdale to still be here but we really need to get this position sorted out.

I always used to think that no matter the outfield positions we always had our own regular strong keeper up till Kenny leaving but since then we've not really had our own strong keeper outside of Moore for a couple of years.

The guys body language spoke volumes, never wanted to be here, was a bag of nerves soon as he stepped out on the pitch. You would think an international that’s played in front of big crowds and big stadiums would have a big presence, a rabbit in headlights. Another burden off the wage bill.

He wasn't a bag of nerves, he just didn't give a fuck. He only cares about playing for Sweden.

He didn’t give a fuck, he didn’t want to be here. His commanding of the box (or lack of), decision making and his hesitancy just like Ramsdales early months clearly showed he was a nervous wreck.

I would bet a tenner that Foderingham gets injured today. The law of the footballing Gods.

He was second choice at Everton, at best second choice at Roma and he’s been signed to be second choice at Villa. It’s almost a specialist position and has got no reflection on whether he’s good enough to be United’s first choice.

He was only moderately good and that was when he wanted to be at the best he could be
