This is just typical of the media (including social) these days. They are desperate to find something now in any pitch invasion. That with Olsen was nothing. Every time someone runs past him he starts holding his head again.

Why any City fan would want to do anything but celebrate is beyond me but what happened does not constitute assault. Olsen is a shithouse.

Any opposition players in the middle of a pitch invasion now can’t win. They don’t know the intention of those running towards them. Stand up and fight and the whole thing can escalate; take evasive action and you are a coward. Play-acting by players during the game needs eradicating; if there is a pitch invasion, the problem is with the fans coming onto the pitch - the players are in a situation totally beyond their control.
