We're not suggesting this is him are we? Doesn't look like his body type to me. Head looks different too.

Don’t see where I’ve been wrong about anything??

And I haven’t pretended to know anything about Watkins either.

Might just stick some emoji eyes in a random thread about a player to have some fun.

Honestly hope its this lad so much more than maupay, lad has speed, strength and trickery in his bag. Maupay is basically exactly the same as sharp.

Watkins would definitely be aomething we currently don't have!

Yeah, Maupay is like a young, fast Sharp. Don't see what's wrong with that.

Nothing wrong with that but sharp is better, and mcgoldrick can cover that role if need be. I just think having some speed and directness up front to cause teams problems will be more important. Especially against the higher calibre defenders. We will need as much 'magic' to unlock defences as possible.

I suggest it is Olli Watkins in the house with a Blades shirt on. I, like Pinchy, am definitely IHGAFCANITK but I can have a guess along with the rest of you. Olli, welcome.

Watkins = no Robinson and probably no Maupay.

Think he's a bit over rated too.

I'd rather it not be him.

All about opinions but for me Watkins > Robinson > Maupay

Dont get the Maupay hype, scores tap-ins, can't create his own goals, is inferior to Sharp.

As someone who has seen Maupay play about 70 times I can honestly say he is pretty unique in his style and I really don't see too much in common with Billy Sharp. He is small, about 5' 7'' but plays as if he is over 6 feet tall as he bullies centre halves with his tenacity and upper body strength. He is a real work hoorse and presses relentlessly and his link up play is exceptional. He won't win you a header except occasionally in the area and he is always on the move - his energy levels are fantastic. The weakest part of his game is his finishing as if he had been anwhere near clinical he'd have scored nearer 50 goals than the 28 he managed last season. He is the best all-round striker i have seen play for Brentford since I started watching them far too long ago.

God knows if he is staying or going but he is far too good for the Championship

Read what Mr. Waterman says. It’s true. Maupay is a special talent. You’re bonkers...

Who is better Hogan when he was on it at Brentford or Maupay.
