Granted they score well but 50 of their 72 goals were at home- suggesting they are homers, away they've scored the same as Millwall.
We can expect a lot of backs to the wall games next season so homers wont do. We're already the 2nd best team so PL experience has to be a must I would have thought.

Really like the look of Watkins but again it seems we'll be competing with other teams from the Prem. He could play in the Duffy role as well as up top which is a major plus if the budget is stretched. Nice to be linked to decent players int it!

I'd be disappointed if other teams in the Premier League didn't want players we were after to be fair. It shows we're looking at the right type of players.

Watkins, Maupay, Benrahma, Canos, Sawyers - I really dont get the obsession with Brentford players. Where were these players when finishing 11th?

Brentford have a fairly special recruitment system that costs them a lot of money re many analysts who assess players; I think Wilder said it costs them a fortune to run. They've got so many good players, particularly attacking wise that they signed for relatively small fees. Canos, Benrahma, Maupay and Wilkins are all quality players. I can't see us getting Maupay but the others are more feasible and I can totally get why we're looking at Wilkins.

The reason they're not higher up is because they are a bit soft in my view and inconsistent but that's the job of the manager to get them more consistent.
