Seems well poised hung.
What wi these ginge's from Leeds and the fake hand/wrist bandage's

Indeed, he insisted it was Roa-ger Nilsen, then self consciously added, but he doesn't mind being called Roger.

He’s alright too, but I don’t recall JAF transforming the Brazil vs Norway match at France 98.

No, but Fjortoft played brilliantly for the Blades! The goal v Portsmouth is probably still my favourite Blades goal for comedy value and what skill after the worlds worst dive. He scored 23 in 36 I think it was. So sad we sold him to Barnsley! I mean Barnsley!

Flo started well, had the odd moment but was a poor mans Billy Whitehurst without the physical strength! He was unfortunate to follow Deano of course and I think if we'd played Flo on the right-wing we'd have seen a better player, like he did for Norway - I think.

Or as Motson insisted on MOTD, 'JOSTEIN FLEWWWW !
What a cunt Motson is/was. My Dad actually wrote a complaint letter to the Match of The Day Director after that cup game v Man United. Basically said that Motsons love affair with Liverpool was over, thought a ghastly epidemic was stalking the pitch as he kept calling Flo, ‘Flu’. Also kept kept calling Roger Nilsson with a hard G so it sounded like ‘Rouger’. What a fucking bell end.

That goal was brilliant. He also scored a more conventionally superb goal in that game - a lovely chip from the edge of the area.

His man-crush on the fat cunt “Bro-leen” was embarrassing

My worry is Wilder already thinks he has cover for Baldock/Basham with Jagielka and Norwood would be covered by Lundstram.

Mate I really don’t think there’s any need to worry about Wilder not having a plan in place. If he believes the cover we have is adequate then it is.

He showed strength carrying that cunt Fashanu into the back of the net

The selling of Fjortoft and Deane on the same day tested my resolve as a blade, however the last three seasons show that the reward of a successful Blades team is worth the many lows that we endure hence why we stick with it. Once again thank you Mr Wilder

I've no doubt JAF would have become a club legend had he been given the chance!
That was a dark dark day when we sold him and Deano when we were looking really good!
It still upsets me now.... Good job we're back in the Prem splashing the millions about or one might get a wee bit down!

Shame we have to wait 20+ years between highs.

West ham signing a player I’ve never heard of sebastian Haller who scored 14 goals in the German league last year for 45Million fourty five Million :oops::oops:

Seriously how many goals would a mcburnie/Maupay score in the German league ?

But Oliver McBurnie doesn't have the same ... appeal as Sebastien Haller.

Fjortoft was sold as Spackman was convinced that as a team we scored more goals when he did not play and as a team we functioned better, his agent was told to find him a club and if they were prepared to pay the asking price he could go.
Deane was fed up with being kicked all over the park and one night match at the Lane was the straw that broke the camels back. He had a clause in his contract that he could be sold if someone paid the relevant fee and Benfica did. He would possibly have turned this down but he was not enjoying his football.

Unfortunately they were sold on the same day, this was never properly explained and the striker that we had lined up to replace them (Hamilton Rikard) was not pursued after the chairman and his wife were abused and spat on.

How do I know, I just do.

Either way that is in the past and CW has given us a fantastic three years, if the ownership battle gets sorted and as expected CW is given full support, we will have a wonderful future.

I thought I was on the O McB thread. My OS must have gone back in time by itself. Will refresh and look again in the morning.

Steve Thompson told Bert that JAF was nesh, very nesh whereas Nilsen was ex army and as hard as nails.
