Quite handy though for some things judging from the last photoRobert Pershing Wadlow, officially the worlds tallest man at 8' 11.1" tall. He was wearing clothes for 17 year olds when he was five, and he just kept growing. Sadly he died at just 22 years old and to be honest, sounds like he had a miserable life because of his extraordinary height...

Robert Wadlow: Tallest man ever
Humankind has always been fascinated by extremes: As a result, the record for the tallest man ever has been featured in almost every edition of the Guinness World Records book since its inauguration in 1955.www.guinnessworldrecords.com
I remember seeing a wax model of this chap at Guinness World of Records in London back in the 80s; freaked me right out!Robert Pershing Wadlow, officially the worlds tallest man at 8' 11.1" tall.
