Made me think of this:houston peters and field
Top is Newport away? Bottom is the 3-0 defeat at Filbert Street in October 1974.

Be nice to get a Birchinall/Jones partnership going now
II absolutely love this whole thread and regularly check in on it. But Houston and Peters... that photo reminds me of just how awful that season was... that kit... that team... utterly woeful!!!! Mnd you, the following season has great memories for me, despite it being in Div 4houston peters and field
If you have time I highly recommend re-reading the whole thread. I did it about 6 months back by just doing something like 10-20 pages a day when I had time, took me a month or so but well worth it. As someone says way back in the thread there is more repeats than on Dave on the thread so they all show back up at some point anyway but there is still some gems yet to make a second appearance that makes it worthwhile starting from the beginning.II absolutely love this whole thread and regularly check in on it.

The May 1984 game was last game of the season - Hull played at Burnley away the following Tuesday and won 2-0 ,but didn't score enough to overtake us . What a stressful evening it was as they went 2-0 up in the first 15 mins i seem to recall . Think they needed to win 3-0 ....
You post some crackers mate, keep them comingI completely agree, and I know I post some completely random crap on here but it doesn't say anywhere that it has to be Blades or football related so I hope no one is offended by my meanderings into craziness on occasion...
