I’ve counted 22, 19 players & 3 managers/ coaches.
Let’s see, I can see:

Ian Rush
Adrian Heath
Simon Stainrod
Peter Withe
Bryan Robson
Bobby Davison
Alan Young
Keith Edwards
Alan Cork
Steve Cammack
Francis Joseph
Bobby Campbell
Billy Whitehurst
Colin Morris
Brian Marwood
Stewart Evans (youth and reserves - no league game for u)
Glynn Hodges
Steve Neville

So that’s 19 for me.

The “McEwan” is Billy’s younger brother Stan, who never played for us.

Have I missed anyone?

Some debate as to if this is Sutherland Rd baths where I learnt to swim in the early 70's .
I have only vague memories but appreciate any help in confirming it. View attachment 195995
my dad took me there swimmimg , had lessons from Anita Lonsborough who I believe she went on to win an Olympic medal
called at a chippy on Staniforth road on the way home, normally chips a sausage and mushy peas,,, brings it all back , can smell the chlorine

I remember going from Firshill School around 1968/69 when I couldn't swim. Scotty had us non swimmers knelt by the baths then he walked down the line and kicked us into the water. Fucking terrifying, bullying twat!
he certainly was did same with us only been about 4 times before he had everybody lined up and pushed us in then couple of weeks later took us all to deep end and just threw us all in with that long pole he had horrible bloke mind it was sink or swim with him best part of day was hot chico or orange at end think they were threepence if i remember correctly

Either The Old Den or Vetch Field. I went to Millwall a few times early eighties. Cannot recall the old away end being half closed. Maybe this was taken in the aftermath of the Ipswich fa cup disturbances?
It can’t be Vetch Field, we didn’t play there with Anderson in the team, definitely can only be 1978/79. The picture probably taken before the gates were opened.

How could I forget Captain Marvel?! (Quite easily given how it all turned out)

I think this house is in Ambleside in the Lake District. It was built on a bridge over water so the owner didn't have to pay land tax. A family of 8 once lived in it and the picture of the old lady is from the 1920s 😵

I always stay in Ambleside on my annual visit to The Lakes always wondered what the story was with it 👍

Souttar !

What a player at the side of him Frankie Worthington !
One of my favourite non-Blades of all time.
Remember going to Brighton Vs Fulham (?) in the mid 80s. We were stood outside the ground when this car rolled up, and Frank got out of the passenger side looking a bit fuzzy round the edges, wearing one of those 80s flecked suits which looked like he'd slept in it.
He was still the best player on the pitch.
