funny thing with frances lee and norman hunter was that they were roomates in england squad although you wouldnt have thought so that day at the baseball ground lol

Blades 2 (Woodward 2) Luton 1 (Jimmy Ryan) on 6th February 1971. Malcolm MacDonald had boasted in a newspaper article that he found centre backs in the 2nd division easy to play against. In that game Eddie Colquhoun had Macdonald in his pocket and then at the final whistle Eddie sarcastically slow-handclapped Malcolm off the pitch

Utd mentioned in dispatches again , when I looked at the league table for 1974-75 couldn’t believe his tight it was and lowest title winning points tally by Derby. This was 3 seasons but my first match at the Lane but found it an interesting read
