Malcolm MacDonald had boasted in a newspaper article that he found centre backs in the 2nd division easy to play against. In that game Eddie Colquhoun had Macdonald in his pocket and then at the final whistle Eddie sarcastically slow-handclapped Malcolm off the pitch

Similar to me PBRovrum was my first away game, but 1979 when the wall fell down. Won 2-1, Barry Butlin and Jeff Bourne scored.

When I was a young un I used to sit on the concrete block at the bottom of the one in the corner between Bramall Lane and John StreetEvery time i see those old floodlights it brings back so many memories, they were iconic.
True, I actually Wikkied Shilton’s career and he never played for Luton. Yes, Leicester at that time. I was only 8 in 1971 so my brain wasn’t fully developed back thenI am a child of that time
I haven't checked with the Internet but I have Shilton as Leicester rather than Luton
